A joy to use. I take these to restaurants to avoid packing leftovers in plastic, foil, or Styrofoam containers; the servers are grateful and someone usually asks me where I got them. The collapsed bowls are compact enough to fit in a decent-sized purse. I also gave a set to my parents, who live in a retirement community where leftovers are normally sent from the dining room in (toxic) Styrofoam. My parents bring the bowls in a pretty cloth lunch bag, so it's all much more stylish than toting chunky Tupperware in a plastic bag. The only challenge is remembering to bring them - but you trained yourself with reusable shopping bags, right? I suggest putting these in your bag or car ahead of time, before you're on your way to dinner. After you've remembered them a few times, it gets easier. By Donna Purcell M

I’ve had my Collapsible Lunch Bowls for only a month and they’ve already paid for themselves. They’ve also helped with portion control when I’m served a large meal.I bought them because single-use take-out containers are wasteful and often too big for our cooler. I also got tired of asking servers for enough foil to wrap up my leftovers.
Now I carry the set into restaurants in a small reusable bag in my medium-sized purse, eat one-third to one-half of my meal and put the remainder in one or more bowls in the bag for other meals. Even when expanded, the three bowls fit easily in our medium-size cooler along with ice packs.
The bowls collapse and expand easily, but are durable and can be put in the dishwasher. The screw-on lids, also durable and dishwasher-safe, ensure nothing falls out or goes stale.
Everyone I’ve shown them to thinks they’re a great idea. They can be great gifts, too.

I purchased a set of these for my mother who never finishes her meals at restaurants. She carries them in her purse and doesn't use so much foam clamshells now! I bought a set for travel and love them as well. I use them to microwave water for tea in the hotel or dorm. I use them for car snacks, for lunches on the go, for everything. My favorite part of these particular containers is that they have a screw top so they do not leak when you throw them in a bag. They fit well into my luggage and purse on the go. What a nifty idea. As a mother with four little lunches to pack in the morning, I love these. Their collapsibility enables me to store them all in a fairly small cabinet when not in use. They've stood up well to dishwashing without losing their liquid-tight seal. I can put very watery food in them without them leaking. However, I'm so annoyed that I can't buy the green size individually. I have no use whatsoever for the red size. Pleeeease unbundle these. By Audrey S

I bought these specifically to carry in my purse so that I could take restaurant leftovers home in a reusable container. I wanted to use the largest (red) container, but found that it added too much weight to my purse. The medium (green) container is a good compromise though sometimes my leftovers BARELY fit. Didn't think I'd use the small (purple) one, but it turns out it's great for salad dressing since the twist-off lid is leak-proof.If they were a little lighter and if you could buy each size individually, I would give it a perfect score!

Attractive, sturdy, useful and easy to clean plus you can put them in the microwave. They fit in the Built lunch bag I bought and the whole thing is pretty stylish! However, I must admit I didn't know how to get the lids off and struggled quite a bit trying to pry them off, wondering how a child would be able. There were no instructions. I've owned these collapsible bowls for about a month and they have become my go-to containers for packing lunch to take to the office. I love that threaded lids create a sturdy seal to keep anything from leaking out into my lunch bag. The large bowl is perfect for veggie-filled salads, and the small bowl is great for keeping the dressing separate until I'm ready to eat. The medium bowl works well for servings of rice & beans, pastas, stir-fry, etc. - just enough to fill me up, but not too much. And, of course, the fact that the bowls collapse down for easy transport and storage is fantastic. If only the rest of my food storage containers were this functional!View All
