Care Instructions
- For maximum insulation efficiency: pre-heat or pre-cool your mug/bottle just prior to use, fill with hot/cold tap water, attach lid, let stand for 5 to 10 minutes and empty
- After filling, cover the mug/bottle with the lid or top to increase thermal efficiency
- Wash and rinse mug/bottle thoroughly after each use and thoroughly dry
- We recommend avoiding the dishwasher for everyday cleaning. Simply use a soft cloth or moistened sponge with a mild dishwashing liquid to remove exterior dirt.
- Do not use bleach or cleaners containing chlorine to clean the mug/container/bottle.

I was looking for a large thermal car cup. This isn't much better than the cup I have from Speedway. For starters, the base is too narrow and it doesn't fit securely in my car cup holder. It's also not leak proof. But the worst thing is that my coffee is lukewarm in less than one hour. I put boiling water in the cup for 5 minutes before pouring my coffe in it thinking it would stay hot longer. It was lukewarm before I even got to work. This is the second mug that we've ordered. On this one the top does not fit tightly, as compared to the first one. However, it seems to become more secure when hot liquids are poured in the mug. The rim on the new mug is different than the old one so maybe this is the way the new mug was designed. We had considered returning it but for now it seems ok. The plastic base on the original mug cracked so we needed a replacement. Your mugs are the only ones that are large enough for a Starbucks venti! By Hilary Y

I knew these were not dishwasher safe before buying them, but now that I am forced to hand-wash them every day, I'm wishing I had looked harder for ones that can go in the dishwasher. Also, it's very tall, and doesn't fit in a keurig coffee machine, just in case others like us are counting on using it with their Keurig. Other than that, it is nice looking, sturdy, good handle. BUT because I have used it hundreds of times and and brought it on many road trips throughout the years and it 1. still looks quite good and 2. has not broken, I am now bestowing an extra star upon it. All around great mug. I keeps the contents hot a VERY long time (hours.)My only complaint is that the lid is quite loose when the beverage cools down. It won't come off when filled with hot liquid, but by halfway, the lid is quite loose.

I love my new commuter mug. It's big enough for my 4 cup pot, and it doesn't tip easily. However, it's not for the dishwasher. The note on it that says that's it's not for the dishwasher is pretty small, and I missed it. So, now I have water in the bottom of the mug that leaks out over everything. Con: When the mug is knocked over, the liquid seeps/pours out and is not contained. The bottom of the mug does not fit inside vehicle cup holders snuggly; its very loose and falls to either side. I purchased two of these. The size is great. There is a tiny hole in the bottom of them, so if they are immersed in water, they fill up & then leak water everywhere later on (I wash them by hand, but if I'm not around my husband sticks them in the dishwasher - hence the leaking water). One of the two that I bought had part of the handle missing (so there's a hole in the middle of the handle), but doesn't affect function. Overall, this mug is great. It keeps my Venti-size drinks hot for a very long time. (In cold weather, it helps when the barista warms it up by swirling some hot water in it before adding the coffee.) The lid is well designed and comfortable to drink from. And I like the fact that the handle is not a closed loop--it fits a little better in my cup holder than the 16-oz. version. My only criticism is that the "thumb hold" at the top of the handle seems a little loose. The handle isn't going to come apart, but it sometimes shifts a bit in my hand and makes me feel as if I'm dropping the mug. Not a big deal, though--I'm used to it now. I waited a while for this mug to be restocked, and it was worth the wait! I also recommend the 16-oz. mug for those who regularly order Grande or medium drinks. By Esther O

I really like this travel mug. It holds the right amount of coffee for me and keeps it hot for about an hour. My favorite part of the mug is the lid construction, which has a flap that opens and closes with the right amount of tension. Do not Buy!!! I bought two mugs and both mugs handles have had a portion separate from the mug. One mug has retained water in the rubber base from the first time I ran it through the dishwasher. Thermally, they are good and hold the temp constant for a fair while. I am not sure how long the tops will retain a tight seal. I use this item every day for coffee. The best part is that it doesn't leak at all. It also keeps the drink hot for a long time. I made coffee 3 hours ago and it is still warm in the travel mug. I love that since I don't always drink my coffee that fast. Bad for my husband he doesn't like the coffee as hot so he just adds an ice cube to the container. We are ordering a replacement mug because the slide that covers the sip hole on the original lost one of its feet and will no longer seat on the lid. My husband used this mug for close to two years - all day every day for everything from hot soup, coffee, cold water with effervescent vitamin powders, you name it. It was comfortable for his large hand, unlike most. We have had lots of stainless steel cups and mugs and considered them pretty much interchangeable, but once we received delivery of this one, he rarely used any other. All parts went through the dishwasher at least once and usually twice a day. That detergent may have dried out the plastic to the point that it was brittle. I love the stainless steel mug! It keeps my drinks HOT for so much longer than regular plastic lined travel mugs do. And because it's steel lined, I don't need to worry about harmful contaminates from the plastics. I was looking for a travel mug that wouldn't get moldy like the cheap, plastic ones I tend to pick up for free at various conferences and meetings. So far, I'm really happy with this one. The base is pretty skinny so I worry it will tip over, but it hasn't yet and I'm very pleased with how well that skinny base fits in my car cup holder. These cups are great - keeps tea or coffee hot for a long time. The only difficulty I had is that the bottom of the cup is somewhat narrower then the slot in my car so when I placed it in there it jiggled quite a bit. I corrected that by lining the car slot with some foam material and now it fits perfectly. My husband and I have enjoyed our mugs. Well, mine did get taken by someone. So, I am in need of another one. It is great to have a mug that the lid can be placed in the correct drinking position. We have marked my husband's name on the mug with a permanent marker. I plan to do the same with my next mug. By Margaret N

We really like this travel mug, primarily because it is one of the few on the market that holds 20 oz. ("Venti" size). Our beverages stay warm and the cup is so far very easy to clean. The lid comes apart so you can clean under the closure and the interior is not retaining even strong chai scents. Thanks for having an alternative to all those paper coffee cups! By Alicia S

Your mugs are very streamlined and conveniet to use. They are practically spill proof. I know because I have knocked mine over several times and only lost a few drops. My only suggestion is to make a portable base for them so that they are less likely to tip over. By stephanie Neuhaus

My concern was finding a st. steel mug-inside and out- that was thermal like the one I already have. I like the size of this travel mug and the feel is nice.. The lid was a nice safe fit too...... SO, I just tried this product out for the first time this week with some hot coffee and I was disappointed. It really wasn't as thermal as the mug I had already(I could hold onto the st. steel and it wouldn't transfer the heat one bit)...this one does transfer the heat and I certainly had to use the handle because of the temperature. As a result of this heat transfer, the coffee didn't stay hot for that long.View All
