Made from 95% recycled glass, the BathStone helps reduce the need for all those scrubbers that wear out quickly and just get thrown away. It lasts as long as 80 traditional scouring pads, and it works 5-times faster. Effectively removes mold and mildew built up on the surface of toilets, sinks and tubs. Won't scratch porcelain and emits no toxic fumes. Soft sponge pad is attached for gentler cleaning.

About Earthstone International LLC Santa Fe, New Mexcico-based Earthstone International has specialized in producing environmentally friendly household cleaning and sanding products since 1993. The company was originally founded in an effort to reduce strip mining in New Mexico. At that time, Co-Founder Andrew Ungerleider devised a method for recycling glass into an extremely fine, powdery substance that has become the basis for Earthstone's products. As a result of this method, Earthstone's products not only work faster, but also outperform other conventional cleaning methods without the need for harmful chemicals.

I bought one from Canadian Tire 2 years ago, and it work so well I told all my friends about it, but when I went back to get them for my friends they didn't have them so off I went hunting online, and I found them with you, so now I'm call the clean toilet lady of Barrie. So thanks for the great product.
I was so happy to find an earth friendly pumice alternative! We have used these on pots, and the tub, and my husband even uses one to clean his hands. (He's an auto mechanic). They are a little awkward, but work great!
We had a rust stain on our sink from shaving cream and the stone just took it up! I couldnt get anything to work! We also had this awful mat on the bottom of our tub (we live in an apt and it has been there since we moved in) and I couldnt get it up with anything. Well the stone got it all up! Im in love with it!
This product is for HEAVY DUTY bathroom work. I had rust and mineral buildup on my toilet (due to cleaning neglect and infrequent flushing of toilet) and had tried many many cleaners and scrubbers. I decided to try this stone thing - I used it to scrub the specific areas really hard - it worked and I am so happy! I have not tried this for every day types of cleaning that the complaints of others are about. I can't see it removing simple soap build up or whatever. But it worked exactly as I needed it to. I will always keep one around.
We love this thing at my house. You do have to put some muscle behind it and it's really difficult to get around the corners until you've ground it down into a curve. But it's amazing at getting residue off a ceramic tub. I use it on my tile, but it doesn't get into the edges. The only other thing I dislike about it is all the crud it's scraping out of your tub will collect on the stone, so periodically you have to un-crud it. Even with these little gripes, I give it a great rating because it's the easiest, chemical-free thing I've found that works this well.
I had hoped that the Earthstone would live up to its name and provide "heavy duty" cleaning of grout and mildew. It has not, and in fact did not even satisfactorily clean the surface of my ceramic tile shower. I use a daily spray cleaner, non-toxic, so I was not asking this product to make up for weeks of neglect. I agree with another reviewer in being curious how this stone could be useful in cleaning crevices, corners or grout.
I have to say, I am still rather unsure how you are supposed to get the most out of this product. It does not move smoothly along my tub, especially at the curved areas. I would not recommend this product.
