About Four Peas
Four Peas was founded in 2005 by Casey Baca, a former schoolteacher and mother of four who couldn’t find the perfect bag for her kids. When her oldest daughter, Bella, was two years old, Casey discovered that trips were easier when Bella had her own bag filled with activities but couldn’t find a bag well suited for toddlers. Casey used her style, savvy, and teaching background to create a line of eight toddler-sized backpacks. These bags are cute but very small. They are too small to fit a water bottle, sandwich and piece of fruit. So maybe good for kids who don't need water bottles packed with their lunches.

For $17.95 perhaps I was expecting a few more bells and whistles, though it's great to have the PVC free option. The inside wipes clean easily, the handle is nice and padded. I haven't washed it yet, but it looks like it will hold up nicely to a few washings. There is a small mesh pouch to put smaller items or a napkin/utensil in. Overall, a great option for kids' lunches. But it's still made in China, whether "responsibly made" or not...IMO, it's a $12 bag; not $17.95.

I bought this for my son when he entered the first grade.

It would be better suited for a pre-school use or somewhere that you're just bringing a

snack. There simply isn't enough room in the bag for a snack, lunch and drink.

My 3-year old daughter loves her new lunch bag. I love that it's made of good materials, and is sturdy as well as cute. She loves to talk about the fairy and the butterflies and make up stories about them. It's easy to wipe the inside, and we can put a cold pack in the mesh pocket. I also love that it's a little bit unique, and she can identify her own lunch easily. From what I can tell, this will last a long time. Very good for the price!

I love this bag! My son is going on 2 years, and I take his lunch to daycare every day in this bag. I love that the inside doesn't smell like plastic, and it is made really well, very sturdy. The inside mesh pocket is perfect for an ice pack. The handles and fabric are of high quality as well. From what I can tell, this bag should last him a long time, and we all love the robot design on the front!

Well made lunch box but what would make it great is if a couple of inches was added to it so it can hold a drink and sandwich container easily....now I have to place one side of the sandwich container on top of the drink container in order for them both to fit.

This lunch bag is just the right size for my preschooler's lunch. Insulated, has a comfortable handle, and opens easily. Also contains a mesh pocket, which we use to hold a cold pack and/or utensils.

Was looking for a lunch bag for my 4 year old daughter that was free of toxic materials, including lead. Showed my daughter her options and this was her favorite. We are both very pleased with the product. There is plenty of room for the variety of stainless steel food containers we use and an ice pack. Durable, easy to clean.

We like this little cutie. The padded handle and the wide, square design is cute but cool enough for a 1st grade boy. My only reservation is the seams inside. If something other than water spills inside, and it does when you have a kid who is in a hurry to repack dirty lunch containers to bring home, these fabric seams stain and get gross. I would rather see the seams on the outside of the lunchbox and seamless inside, where the mess happens. Pay attention designers - a lunchbox needs to be highly cleanable or it's a nasty breeding ground for bacteria within no time flat.

My girl is 6 and this works perfectly for her lunch and snacks. It's durable, pretty, washes well, and holds enough for her. It isn't super large though, so an older child who eats more would need a larger lunch kit.

It's a middle sized bag. I like it other than our water bottle and thermoses won't fit. It's great for days when there are just sandwhiches and small containers. I like that it is as chemical free as plastic can get.

The description indicates this bag is spacious. It is not. When my second grader opened the package he immediately pronounced that it was way too small. It is not possible to fit a thermos and containers in this lunch box. Disappointing.

This is the perfect size for a lunch where milk is served at school. No thermos space. Son loves the cool look and mom loves the safe product! We paired it with the flat wraps and some lunch sacks to put inside. He will not have any trash in his lunches! Let's hope he just eats everything!!!
