Bontera (TM) plastic looks and feels like plastic but is made from the cellulose and starch in plants. It's dishwasher safe, long-lasting and doesn't require petroleum to produce.

4.0 prettiest dish wand ever
Comments about Product:
PROS:This is a gorgeous dish wand. No junky, cheap-looking plastic "wand" here! The bamboo handle is beautiful, and easy to hold while washing the dishes.
The soap reservoir is easy to open and fill, and DOES NOT LEAK!
CONS:
Sometimes, if the reservoir is less than half-full of soap, it is difficult to get a decent "squirt" of soap from the brush. Requires more frequent filling, but that's not a big deal.
As the sponge head nears the end of its life, it tends to become loose, and will pop off the handle while cleaning.
I would love to see replacement "sponge-scrubber" heads for this product!
