Design & Functionality Available in two sizes – for sandwiches or smaller snacks – Fresh Snack Packs will replace all the wasteful plastic baggies we throw away every day. The snack size is great for pretzels, cookies, crackers and vegetable sticks. The larger size is perfect for sandwiches and bagels – the gusset leaves plenty of room for fillings. (Check out our tips below!) The Velcro closure makes the bag adjustable, and each Fresh Snack Pack unfolds to form its own place mat. Wrap the flap backwards over the side of your stroller or shopping cart for hygienic snacks on the go. Clean-up is easy- just wipe it off and let it dry.
Materials Food-safe, non-toxic. PVC- and phthalate-free. These FDA-approved ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) plastic reusable baggies will last for hundreds of uses. Baby teethers and plastic wrap both contain EVA, a widely-used, BPA-free plastic.
Sustainability When used in place of disposable plastic baggies, each Fresh Snack Pack has the potential to eliminate 100s of plastic bags over its lifetime, saving you money at the same time. As part of a waste-free lunch kit, these reusable bags can ultimately help you consume less over time.

I bought 2 of these and used one everyday for my son's snack for school. They lasted through a whole school year. Eventually the velcro ripped off one but this was after 6+ months of heavy use. I just bought 4 more for this year and threw out the old one which still works but is looking a bit dingy compared to the new ones. I love these things! Easy to clean just rinse in the sink and dry in the drying rack. We also bought a cloth one but those didn't work well for us. They don't hand wash as well and machine washing is too much trouble. These are great for dry snacks. If you have fruit or anything wet it can leak out of the sides.
Bag is not as wide as I had wanted. Can only fit small crackers inside. Larger items get broken easily. Also, crumbs spill out easily. Otherwise, the construction is good, nice material that is easy to clean.
These snack bags made great additions to stockings this year. I like that they are transparent and they are a good size for snacks. We've packed several baby carrots, a cookie/brownie, a bunch of pretzels, a raisin box and some loose nuts (not all these things at once!). They clean and dry easily. Sometimes small items have fallen out (like almonds or peanuts) but this is minor. Plus the price is darn good!
We have started a 'snack tray' in the fridge so that our 7 yo son can get his own snacks. These are great for this - their design holds the contents in if they get tipped upside down, they are easy for him to open, and they are clear so he can see what is inside. I expected them to be more rigid, but they are soft and pliable, which is another bonus.
I have used these bags more than a dozen times for carrot/celery sticks, cookies, lunch meat. They wash clean with no odor left behind. I love getting away from buying and throwing away plastic bags. The velcro strips is secure and I have no complaints.
My kids love these for their lunches because they can SEE what is in them (versus some that they have to open first). They seem sturdy enough and easy to use for my 6 and 4 year olds. They are a little tricky to wash (and dry) since you have to wash inside the pocket and it doesn't open up all the way. There are two little holes at the bottom of the pouch so you can't put liquidy things in, or small things (like nuts) or some will fall out. Great for items like apples that you don't want to dry out. Overall we love them!
Love these. They're roomy enough for half an apple cut into slices (more like 3/4, or perhaps all of it if it was a small apple). Perfect for those moist but not drippy things like apple or pear slices, whole strawberries, grapes, carrots, cucumbers or bell pepper strips. The red bell peppers did seem to stain them slightly orangeish, but I can live with that. I wouldn't put WET things in them like mango chunks (a lunch favorite here) or pickles because they don't seal that well. The plastic is easier to clean than fabric snack bags, which I tend to use for dry items like crackers, cookies, etc.
The fresh snack pack snack bag material is a bit delicate. One of the two I received had a small tear at the bottom. The snack bag can hold only small items. What I do like about the bag is that it wraps around twice to hold the contents securely. I think it is great for cookies and small crackers. It will definately help with not using plastic snack bags that are wasteful.
Really nice to be able to see contents in bag. Closes well and seems to protect food from drying out. Have used it for fruit, veggies, boiled eggs, etc. Kids can open easily and nobody has thrown one out by accident, yet! Washes nicely and dries in about the same time as a quart size ziploc freezer bag. However, unlike the regular/sandwich size Fresh Snack Pack bag, I would NOT recommend trying to turn this smaller bag inside out to wash/dry. Washed one for the first time before use and tried GENTLY to turn it inside out. It ripped right down the seams on both side. I really was gentle. Pretty much non-functional with ripped sides. Its not that they are weak because none of the others ripped with normal use -- just too small to turn inside out I'm thinking.
initially i liked these bags a lot. then as i got to use them more and more the velcro tab which keeps the bag closed started to separate from the bag itself. this doesn't render it unusable, but rather serves as a bit of a challenge for keeping items contained. otherwise good and solid product.
i realized that i was wasting too many plastic snack bags. i tried this a couple of times, and this is good! it's easy to clean and practical! the only is, you can just use for dry snacks! other than it, it's wonderful!
I've use these snack bags everyday in my lunch for a few months. They're easy to use, easy to clean, and pretty compact. Just remember to keep the snack pack right-side-up when you're opening it if you pack juicier fruits like raspberries and pineapple -- I've made a little sticky mess on my desk a few times when I absentmindedly held the bag the wrong way and some juice drizzled out :)
I love that they're see-through. They are more washable than the cloth-like alternatives (the cloth-like ones tend to get stinky before too long). So far they act just like a ziploc, only completely washable. They fit a half-sandwich perfectly, or crackers and cheese. I just have 2, one for each child. For an adult or an older child I would try the larger size to fit a whole sandwich and/or some snack together. But this size works perfectly for now.
When the snack size arrived I thought it would be too small, but it holds more than I expected. Plus the foldover keeps cheerios and other small things from falling out. I like that I can see through it. It does stain pretty easily though -- cut up red bell peppers. It's also a little awkward to hang dry.
I was looking to cut down or elimate all the plastic bags I sent in my 6 year old son's lunch each day. In addition to the wrap and mat (which I really love and endorse), I piked up one of these. I like this bag a lot but it has some limitations. I think an adult would have much more ease in opening and keeping items in the bag. While great for chips, large cashews, fruit pieces, etc... when I tried to send my son with some soy nut trail mix we ended up with pieces of nuts and seeds all over. When you open it, you have to unfold it a few times and the snack will go to one end. It is hard for my son to open it slowly and correctly so he makes a mess. He says he loves it with larger snacks so I send him with more pratical snacks in this bag. It does keep things fresh. I would also not use this for anything not dry, there are creases in the bottom that are hard to get clean and I could see 'gunk' piling up in there if the snack was wet of gooey. BUT... I love it for what I use it for.
I have made a conscientious effort to use less disposable plastic bags and was happy to find this website. I love the snack bags. They are easy to wash and are very sturdy. I have recommended them to my friends.
I have these in snack and sandwich size and we use them every single day. My husband and I both get compliments at both our jobs! I wouldn't be surpirsed if people we work with have purchased these since we direct everyone to this site. I like them because you can see through them to know what's inside. They are easy to clean and dry quickly!
I can placed my order for the other snack & sandwich bags ans than saw these! I HAD to order them for all the lunch stuff that I carry every day. I will say I use my zip-lock bags until they are falling apart before I will throw them out. I carry teabags, powered creamer, drink mixes & fruit-bars with me everywhere. Love that I can see through see bags so I know which one to grab & pack. Will so use the non-see through ones for food and this for the dry stuff. Very disappointed that the sides are open at the bottom. Love how you can use it as a placemat BUT since I'm not using it that way it would be nice if the made it both ways. Seems like a waste. NOW can you get use on that we can use for travel & and the will TSA approve!! LOVE THIS SITE!

Comments about Product:
I bought these snack bags for my 5-year-old's school lunch. We try to avoid extra packaging in general and re-use when we can. Plus, my son has difficulty opening small chip-type bags, finds Ziploc bags impossible to open, and has difficulty getting the tops of other packable containers with lids. These snack bags work out great. He can easily manage the Velcro to open it, and snacks like pretzels or crackers stay in the bag nicely (intact, without breaking into crumbs). They are lightweight and easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

Comments about Product:
These are better than throw away plastic bags but they aren't my favorite. What I do like is that you can see what's inside it without opening it up. What I don't like is that because of the wrap around feature, my kids often spill the contents when opening it. I like the Reusies better but I still use these.
I really like this product. It is great for dry munchies. Be aware that anything slightly squishy will leak out since this product is not a sealable bag. It works really well with brownies and cookies. We take them hiking as a regular part of our gear.

Comments about Product:
These are great, but personally I prefer the nylon coated bags that are sold here. These bags clean up great and I like that you can see in them, but since they are still plastic I'm afraid too much handling will eventually tear them. So far so good, though.

Comments about Product:
I do like the idea of these little envelopes, but my one complaint is that the side seams have been fairly weak and split easily. Perhaps I got a few bad ones because some are fine and a couple have split.
Great stuff! I'm a brown-bagger trying to get green. Previously I'd wrap breakfast & lunch in plastic or foil and toss the residue. I'm down to the point that the only refuse my two meals at work generate are a small sleeve of paper from a Fiber One granola bar! The plastic bags are great! Would that a better R-value product existed. I like my breakfast burrito warm, my lunch cold. It's a challenge but these folks have, or will have, everything I need. I'm enjoying being greener, hope you are as well.
3.0 I'm a park-and-walk person who carries a backpack
Comments about Product:
I'm a park-and-walk person who carries a backpack and walks to a destination coffee shop for breakfast. I use the snack pack to transport cut-up or small fruit. Would like it better if the expandable portion went all the way to the bottom.
This is my second purchase of these. I purchased two, but my daughter would use both for lunch, she loves them. I had to buy more for the rest of the family. Very easy to use/clean. I'm going to buy some for Christmas gifts, since my extended family doesn't think of things like this, but they would enjoy them. I highly recommend.
Love the bags. because i pack my husband and kids lunch, i think i saved about 20 plastic bags in one week alone. durable, easy to clean, and quite functional. will continue to use. ps it feel good to be doing a little part in helping the planet by not using so many plastic bags.

Comments about Product:
These work great and are the perfect size to fit a few veggies or snacks for work. The only downside is they don't seal completely, so if you have a little bit of liquid on your fruit or veggies it tends to leak out just a bit (I use mine mostly for crackers or dry foods and they work great for these). Still, it is worth being able to save plastic bags and reuse these.
What a great idea! My kids are using them every day for camp. They use the big ones to hold their yogurt and fruit cups to protect the inside of the lunch bags from explosions. I cringe at the thought of 100+ campers tossing baggies and paper into the trash every day 5 days/week for 10 weeks in the summer. I am trying to start a movement to get all of the campers to use these things.
My goal was to say goodbye to baggies! Thanks to the Fresh Snack Packs I can. I use them for my kids snacks and they love them. They can eat off of them too at their desks. One quick wipe down at night and you're good to go. My next purchase from here is going to be the baggie drying stand that will be perfect to dry these out at night. So much better for the environment.

Comments about Product:
Bag height is too limited and the tight corners to enable the bag to be useful for taller or more fragile snacks, e.g., potato chips. Competes with the flexibility of a standard plastic baggie. Has the feel of plastic, so doesn't give the tactile pleasure and inherent sustainability of cloth. Only real benefit is that it can be reused. Hard to get my high school and middle school boys to use due to the above limitations. Perhaps add an accordion expansion aspect to give it more flexibility.

Comments about Product:
I got two of these to try them out and my daughter loves them. The work great and you just rise them out to clean. She loves that everyone at school is curious too! I will buy more once they are back in stock!
