1.0 fine but why the excessive packaging?

The packaging on these containers have as much polypropylene as needed to do a plastic container to carry food even though it cannot be used as a container in itself, and it is printed in full color, which is a highly polluting process. I was truly horrified and I will never buy any other containers from this brand. I am also quite upset at reuseit for marketing this product. I felt utterly deceived into waste by not being warned about the wasteful packaging. I would beg reuseit to either not sell products with excessive packaging or add the packaging to the snapshot gallery and the detail pages so customers can make an informed decision. The one star goes to both Inate and reuseit with the hope they will figure out their clientele and act accordingly. By Kaylynn R

My son loves his new lunch boxes! The Innate Stainless Steel container is tough and cool looking too. It is also easy for little hands to open. It washes well in the dishwasher too. One drawback is the rubber/plastic seal inside the lid. Not sure if it needs to be taken out for washing but it kind of comes out on its own anyway. But still a good value and no more plastic worries. By Joy T

3.0 Silicone band is loose.

The box looks ok, but the silicone band was twisted and out of place. Without it, the box won't stay shut. I managed to tweak it into the lid so that it looks right and the lid seals properly, but I'm not sure how long it will last. I like my other stainless steal lunch boxes better. By Linda C S

I reallly like this box. Good size for sandwich or decent portions size of salad or leftovers. Silicone seal is probably leakproof, though I haven't tested it. Latches are easy to use and secure. My single problem with it is that it came in plastic packaging. By Mona C

This was my first time ordering this type of lunch tin. I bought this one and Lunch Bots to try them both out. This one has a strip of silicone, I believe, which helps seal it shut and adds a layer to make it tight enough for the snaps on each end to hold it shut. Unfortunately, the silicon ring came out after a couple of uses, and I was not able to get it to stay in again. Perhaps there is some trick to it that I am missing, but now this product is unusable to me. (There's not enough tension to hold it shut without that extra strip.) I would wholeheartedly recommend the Lunch Bots versions (I bought a couple of kinds). They have a lid that just stays on by itself, and I have not had any trouble with them.View All
