Love these for the kids. They are easy to clean, use and don't break. The kids can use the spoon or the fork side so no need to send two utensils to school. My girls love the girly colors too.Wish they made these for adults without the knife edge so I could take them too. Don't want the knife edge on the adult ones.

I was horrified at the amount of disposables the kids used at school, so I asked the administration if I could send reusable plates and cups (washing them every night). They said they teach the kids to clean up after themselves which includes throwing things away... Well, WE teach our kids to reduce, reuse and recycle! My kids are conscientious about keeping track of their belongings, so I'm, confident they will return them to their school bag after meals. So far so good! As long as the teachers don't confiscate or throw them away, I'm happy!ALSO, they fit in the long narrow section of the Planet Box lunch trays!

these are great. All three of my kids use them for their lunches. It's easy for me since it's a fork and spoon in one so I don't need two separate utensils! And I feel better not wasting plastic.I do however wish they were a little longer. They are better in the hands of a little one.

In the past, I would put an old stainless steel fork in my son's lunch box in an effort to avoid plastic disposable forks. Unfortunately, it would prick holes in the lining of his superhero lunch box. Then I came across the Light My Fire Sporks. They are perfect in every way! They do not damage his lunch box, the size is perfect for him (or me), the spoon works for yogurt and pudding, and the fork works on fruit, etc. This product perfectly fits our lunch box needs (not to mention that my son and his friends think they are cool). In an attempt to make our school lunches waste-free, I searched for an appropriate child-sized utensil until I found these. My son, who's in 2nd grade, loves them! They are just the right size for his mouth and I like that I don't have to pack a spoon AND a fork. They're durable and so far, they don't have any stains or marks on them. These are perfect for my kids' lunch boxes. I got the pink set for my daughter (9) and the black and green set for my son (6). They think they're cool and their friends do, too. I bought these for my kids' lunchboxes. Perfect size for younger kids - mine are 4 and 6 - easy to clean, and for some reason, sporks are infinitely fascinating. They are lightweight, and because we've only had them for a month, I can't testify on their durability. Also, I don't put them in the dishwasher and hand wash every time.
