Although it looks like a soda can, this innovative reusable water bottle has a lid that screws open for a wide mouth, it's easy to clean, fill with ice, or drink out of just like a cup.
Our staff finds My Eco Can convenient to drink from because the lid screws open to a cup and because you can also fit a straw in the top opening just like you would a regular soda can!

Design & Functionality
This reusable is water bottle is designed to look like a soda can but functions as much more than that – Its insulating double-wall allows for hot or cold beverages and it’s resealable & refillable!
Materials
Poly-Lactic Acid (PLA), breaks down into harmless natural compounds in an industrial compositing facility.
PLA comes from natural corn starch. This material has the benefits of plastic properties, but without any petroleum components, and low CO2 emissions during production.
Sustainability
Not only does the My Eco Can replace disposable water bottles but it also serves as a reminder of our dependency on iconic disposables. Americans discarded about 2.7 million tons of aluminum. The largest source of aluminum in the waste stream is used beverage containers and other packaging containers.

MollaSpace, a Los Angeles based design collective, was launched as a gateway for talented young product designers from all over the world. The company believes that design is not just limited to what our visual senses may say but also encompasses the idea and concept, like designing a water bottle that resembles an iconic disposable.

I bought this not really knowing what to expect. It is a little bigger than an actual soda can. My daughter mostly uses it, and I am hoping will take it in her lunch once school starts. It doesn't hold enough for what I usually like to take with me, especially if you try to use ice. I do like the lid- so far no leaks and the pull tab lid is fun.Doesn't fit in all cup holders but that's ok. Might use it more if it were a bit taller and skinnier, but overall, pretty good.

We drink juices for our breakfast and lunch and my husband takes it to work in these and they work great! I agree with other reviews that opening the top can be a challenge at first but it's not difficult once you learn it. My only gripe with these is the rubber seal on the lid isn't glued in and it falls out when you wash it and since it's small it's easily lost. By Kylene D

Purely genius! What a fun product. Bought it for my daughter’s lunchbox. She had difficulty at first opening the spout herself but after a few times she’s got it down and I’m very happy to say it does not leak..YAY!!! And it’s the perfect size for any lunchbox with plenty of room left over. No more need for juice pouches, powdered drink packets or plastic bottles, this eliminates a lot of the previously used disposable items. Keeps drinks cold and super easy to clean By Shelley S

3.0 Looks Good, But....

I totally love the idea of this can, however I had a harder time falling in love with using the can. The problems I had were with the actual close/open mechanism on the lid itself. There was a learning curve in order to open it by pushing down on the other end of the pivoted closure. I was more displeased with the pivoted lid getting in my way and making contact with my nose when I started getting about halfway done with my beverage. In other words, it just didn't pivot far enough back to not be a hassle and get in the way of the actual drinking part, which is what it's all about. I still really like the can and what it stands for, but I just don't use it as much as I thought I would originally. By Hannah M
