Each recyclable tube of Nuun Drink Tabs replaces 16 disposable bottles of flavored water – reducing the waste of production and consumption of single-serving drinks. In fact, according to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled – most wind up in landfills where they can take up to 1000 years to biodegrade. About Nuun
Nuun (pronounced “noon”) was originally the brainchild of a student and professor from the Tuck School, Dartmouth College’s business program. New England was great for fall cycling, but the two became frustrated in their search for an electrolyte hydration solution to use in remote places. They longed for a lightweight, easily-dissolvable product that was free of carbohydrates.
Dissatisfied by pre-made and powdered options on the market, they set about developing their own solution. The answer came in the form of a simple tab that would come to be known as “Nuun”.

Directions
Add a tab to 16 oz (500ml) of water, wait for it to dissolve. For an 8 oz drink, just break the tab in half.
Nuun’s tube is recyclable #5 plastic - the stopper cannot be recycled, but we recommend reusing the whole container to store small items.

I purchased these a few weeks ago, and I am officially addicted. My favorite is the Orange Ginger flavor. I love that they are not overly sweet, but not bitter. Definitely not a typical flavored drink additive. Try them! Trust me, you won't regret it.
