I love these bags, they work with my local grocery store carts, Jewel. I bought 2 for myself and one for a gift. I just wish you carried them in the other cool patterns that Reisenthal offers; black and red are nice, but so basic.

I can't speak any more highly for these bags!

We do our grocery shopping at Aldi (They don't use plastic bags & you have to pack everything yourself).

I load the checkout up with our items & then put the bags up in the trolley, all ready to go.

Takes me a minute to load the trolley up, pay & I'm out of there!

Really love being able to walk straight out of the store, rather than stand there & pack everything with everyone else who hasn't discovered these amazing creations yet!



Great value for money - I bought 2 which fit our family of 3's groceries in quite comfortably.

Will definitely buy another as our family grows :)

I really love these (and the cashier's at pretty much every store goes nuts over them!), I haven't has any problems getting them to fit a cart (Publix, Aldi, Trader Joe's), the only thing I wish was that there was a way to do more than spot clean it. Really wish it could go in the washer.

The Easybags are strong and easy to carry but they are too small for standard shopping carts. It needs an extender of some sort. I almost snapped off the clips on one side trying to stretch it to fit - and that was at the narrow end of the cart.

I love these bags! Well constructed, thoughtful design, and super useful! I was concerned when I read other reviews that these did not fit American shopping carts. I really loved the idea and design of these so I cautiously bought one. I'm happy to say I've had no problems using them in my local (California) grocery stores. I did discover that they will not fit Target or Costco shopping carts, but that's not a deal breaker for me, so I ordered a second bag! They have a really handy zipper pocket inside that I put my keys and wallet in, which is a nice added feature. The only thing I don't understand is there is a tiny little plastic pouch on the inside with a buttoned flap that contains two small plastic discs... I cannot for the life of me figure out what these are for! I have had so many people stop and ask about the bags, I'm sure I will be seeing them in more carts around here soon! If the company, and I think they should, manufactures a bag like this for larger carts, specifically large enough to fit Costco and other wharehouse stores, I'll be back to buy two more!

I came across the Reisenthel EasyBags via Pinterest and immediately looked them up and ordered a couple. I thought they looked like a great idea, like they would make shopping trips easier and greatly cut down on the piles of plastic bags that inevitably pile up and overflow from my "bag drawer". I have used them several times and have not once been even slightly disappointed. They're very well made and have stood up to the abuse I put them through by overloading them (they can hold A LOT), and I love how they conveniently hang on the sides of the grocery cart, making them super easy to fill. When not in use, they are easy to roll up and fit nicely in their included cases.



In a nut shell, I LOVE these bags and highly recommend them, they are more than worth their cost.

I get comments about these bags every time I go to the store. While I wish they were a tad bit bigger they preform exactly as promised. Out of the 2 different carts I have used them in only one was almost too big to fit across and latch onto. I like that I can take all my groceries in one trip inside. Over all I am happy with this product.

5.0 Great with Self Check Out Hand Scanners

I saw a woman at my local market with this product and I stopped her and asked where she got it. She told me Reuseit.com sold the Reisenthel EasyBags. My purchase was fast, secure and easy. It works best with self check out lanes and especially well with handheld self-check out scanners. For me the best product use is to scan your price, and pack the items in your bag as you go not having to unpack at the register. Not sure what the use of it would be if you pack as you go only to have to unpack as you go through the register. The main function of the bag is that it hangs in your cart as you shop. If you are not using it for that function then all you have is another after cash register plastic bag. The product is plenty big enough to hold most shopping items. You have to place gallon jugs and 5lb bags of pantry stables in separate bags as not to crush the contents of this item but you would do that no matter what shipping bag you use. Great product, great design, meets expectations.

I think this is a great product, it works well with standard shopping carts. A few stores near me, such as Aldi has wider carts than normal so the bag doesn't stretch to fit it. If it could be a tad bigger or stretchier it would be perfect for all carts!

the Reisenthel EasyBags worked out so great for us. I'm one of those folks that like to slide ALL the grocery bags on my arms to carry from the car to the house. I like to make it in one trip if possible. to be able to carry all the groceries from a whole cart in two hands is amazing. Also, the fact that we're no longer using those horrible plastic bags feels awesome. They are head turners as well, multiple people see them and say "that's so cool!" they are very durable and clip on easily to any cart. I highly recommend them.

They go from cart to car in one easy lift, and the hold all my groceries in two bags. They easily fit two in a cart at both Kroger and Trader Joes.



I would highly recommend these bags. Sturdy, large, and easy to use.

1.0 So sad it didn\'t fit the carts

I was so excited about these bags. I purchased 4 of them. I mostly bought the bag to use at ALDI, where you must bring your own bags. I went to use the bag and it wouldn't reach across the cart at all. It is way too short. This was the reason I wanted thses bags to make it easy at check out. But since they will not reach they are worst then the bags I already own b/c they will not stay open own their own at all. :( Returning the 3 unopened bags. Measure the carts you want to use the bag in.

These bags are a wonderful idea and I would use them more, but the problem is they are not big enough for the shopping carts are you normal grocery stores. If you go to the food markets or the specialty shops they work fine, but in the chain grocery it only works at the front of the cart, then the cart gets wider towards the back and the bag doesn't fit. Some how they need to be able to extend. I also like the idea someone else wrote for the large shopping cart like at Sam's club or Costco, since they don't have bags.

I bought 2 easybags and have used them a couple of times at my store. I like them however, the plastic hangers for the sides of the carts are too short and light and with nothing in them or just something light, the elastic makes them spring off the sides...you should have used metal hooks and they wouldn't be able to come off...AND they are very difficult to put back into their carrying bags.

I have the earlier version of these bags, without the inside pocket (a great addition.) I often wish I had a backpack with 20 of these inside when I grocery shop. Everyone stops me to ask where I got them. The baggers love them. But best of all, I get all my groceries in two bags that sit upright it my trunk without spilling. They are very strong and last forever; I have had mine for years. They make a great gift too!

I love this idea. Makes it easy to shop by simply hooking the side plastic tabs onto each side of the shopping basket and I just place things right in the basket. Then at the cash they place it back into the bag which is very roomy and sturdy. And it's a nice extra to have the little zippered coin pocket inside the bag as well.

Really happy with this product. I suggest purchasing two for personal use and more as little gifts. Great product in my opinion.

I have always been guilty of forgetting my re-useable bags when grocery shopping - along with my shopping list. But I love my new EasyBags so much that I make an extra effort to bring them along. In fact, if I can't find them I start to panic! Even when full, they close easily when removed for carrying to the car. The Velcro keeps the bag closed snugly so that items don't spill out on the trip home. The handles are comfortable in my hands. High praise for this product!

I use my grocery cart bags all of the time. People have stopped me in the aisle and asked where I bought them and the cashiers have asked me where I bought them. I answer reuseit.com ...I just love them. I do wish they were a little bit wider. With the new carts that are wider sometimes the bags don't fit.

The current bags fit the normal size grocery carts, but if you shop at Costco or a Sam's Club type of store, their carts are much bigger to accommodate the large-sized, items they sell.

I hook my bags on the cart, load them, put entire bag on checkout, put entire bag back in cart, then in car and carry inside. Two bags can handle a full cart of groceries, instead of having 20 little plastic bags. They fit all the carts I have used: WalMart, Target, Walgreens, Winn Dixie....

I purchased four of these bags last year two for me and two for a gift. My family loved them and immediately I was down to two. Every time I pull this bag out in the store the first thing I hear is "where did you get that bag." Of course I tell them about Reuseit and show folks how easily the bag fits in the cart. Those store where you shop with a scanner and bag as you go....these bags are a blessing. At the end I just pay for my groceries, pick up the bag and off I go.

Bought two of these primarily because they could attach to grocery carts. Haven't been disappointed in using these and they hold a lot of stuff! The fabric is one that resists stains and can go the distance. The velcro closure at the top keeps everything inside and the elastic at both ends gives you some flexibility with larger items. I have experienced the reusable bag envy, because you don't see these bags around everyday. I am very happy to share my find, and these were exactly what I was looking for to round out my reusable bag collection.

I'm not kidding, everytime I go to the grocery store people stop me and ask me where I got such a 'cool' bag. They love it! I must have sold at least a dozen of them since I started using mine. Yesterday, two people stopped me and used their I-phone to look up your site. I use only one cart bag and then I use three of your insulated grocery bags in the back of the cart. One for produce, one for frozen/cold, and one for incidentals. Nothing touches the carts, which are always dirty! Even though they 'say' they spray clean them, one person with dirty cans/bottles uses it and it's disgusting! Thank you for such fabulous products!

These bags are great for groceries, but they cam with carry-bags; our old version had velcro straps to keep them together when not in use; the velcro straps are WAY better - the bags are too difficult to use - it's almost impossible to get them back in!

I love these bags! They fit in Safeway shopping carts perfectly.



It's a little hard to get used to how food stacks into them, as there isn't a hard, flat surface. The second bag (toward the cart handle) doesn't quite reach the bottom, so it's better for lighter things.



I had some concern that the bags would be too heavy when full. They're not. It's a good design and so nice to make two trips to the car instead of a half dozen.



One bag has a bit of a run in the fabric, which I noticed after second use. Hope it doesn't develop into a hole.



Only problem I have is that the bags tend to collapse in the back of my car once they no longer have the cart for structure. Food falls out. It's workable, though, and so much better than collecting plastic bags!

I don't write reviews! I mean it, I NEVER write reviews! These bags, however, are life changing!!! I have a neurological disease that causes my hands to tremble and my hands are very weak. Bagging my own groceries at big discount grocery stores was impossible. With these bags I simply place my groceries back into the bags hanging in the cart. I sort freezer and refrigerator into one and dry/pantry items into the other. No struggling with shaky hands and plastic bags that won't stand up. I can pack a large order in no time at all and not feel like I'm holding up the whole line PLUS loading into the car requires only 2 lifts not 10 flimsy bags. PLUS unloading into the house is simply and the groceries are presorted. I LOVE these bags!!!!!!!!

3.0 Bigger bag needed? I have your option

I was all set to order some more bags that clip to the side of the cart - I ordered mine (from reuseit) 2 years ago and love, love, love them. I couldn't remember the name and ended up doing a search. These bags came up in the search, not the ones I ordered and I couldn't find them, so I read the reviews about these being too short (20") so I measured the ones I have and they are 22" or so. I then did manage to find my old style in reuseit and they are great. They are Pack-n-Tote - Item #: PNT-01. They fit wonderfully and I have put mine through serious abuse over the past 2 years and they still hold up.

2.0 Cute and Well Made, But Doesn\'t Fit

I loved this bag the minute I opened it. It comes in a convenient travel bag and is made from a sturdy wipe-able fabric. I loved that it was designed to fit across the grocery cart so my items, especially produce, would not have to touch the dirty grocery cart. Unfortunately, I took it out for a test run for the first time this weekend and it doesn't fit. Not even close! It was probably about 4-5 inches too short to fit across the grocery cart. And since it doesn't have much shape if not expanded out and hooked to the sides of the cart, it really didn't work at all. I was so disappointed!

I just used my Easy Bags yesterday and was very disappointed that they didn't fit side by side in the grocery cart like the photo shows. They only fit in the small end of the cart...and I used the smaller grocery cart. Has anyone else experienced this? I think the photo is deceptive.

If they worked, these bags would be perfect!

First of all, I love the idea of these bags. They look to be durable and well made. The picture shows two used in a standard sized shopping cart. I ordered two thinking two would fit. The one fit in the smaller part of the cart perfectly. The second one, while it fit in the cart, wouldn't stretch just enough to stay hooked to the sides of the cart. I tried reversing the order thinking one might have gotten made a little bit smaller, but it didn't help. I will continue to use (they are a great size, I just wish they were a smudge bigger (say 1/2") so the one in the larger part of the cart would have stayed hooked.

They stayed put in the back of my car instead of sliding all over! Then I only had TWO bags to carry into the house instead of a gazillion!!! And they were so sturdy that they handled the weight without a problem. And the nice, sturdy handles made it so easy to carry the bags into the house. I would recommend these to EVERYONE!!! I love them and will be giving these out for Christmas! They even roll back up into their own compact carrying bag. LOVE them!!

I love the easy bag from Reisenthel. It makes shopping easier. I just fill up the bag and then place the entire bag contents on the belt all at once and no having to stack everything numerous times. The clerk just puts the items in my second bag. No fussing with those plastic bags that rip. Yay!

I really love these shopping bags. I have been using the larger Reisenthel bags, but sometimes they get too full and become very full and heavy. These bags are a bit less than half the size and have a sturdy flat bottom. They fold into a square, which makes them more convenient to carry and store. I still use the larger ones for lighter items. I purchased 25 of them for holiday gifts. I may be going back for more!

I have a new gift idea for a long time thanks to this bag (wedding/baby showers and birthdays)! I was a little worried about how it would work at checkout (considering super W-mart's bagging carousel), but it was a breeze and the clerk didn't mind either. I loaded & unloaded my car in record time (very handy with my toddler waiting for me). Only having to deal with 2 bags is great.



I would suggest to use it just at bagging time (however it does help you buy less, another plus sometimes). It fit the cart just fine at our super W-mart, & I still had room for my toddler to sit in the seat too.



Definitely get 2 and use just one on a smaller trip. I love the cute patterns too. FYI the Baroque Sand is brown and cream even though it looks black and white online; still cute though.

I received two of these bags as a give-away a few years ago. It is rare to go into the grocery store without someone commenting on how great they are! I can easily get $250 worth of groceries into 2 bags. (Just be sure you are comfortable lifting that much weight...but the bags can handle quiet a lot.) They fold up neatly in their own little pouch so they take up very little room in your trunk...always ready for the next grocery run. Highly recommend them. Not one single complaint. Just order one. No, order two! You'll be so glad you did.

Reusable bags have been my "bag" for many years, some too big, some too small. This one is "just right!" I own four of them and since they are so light weight and look like small umbrella's when they are in their case, I tend to leave them in the car and take them all with me when I shop. I always keep one empty when I check out, in that way none of them is overloaded. I close the velcro on the top after I load them into the car. Every thing about them is good for me! They also make very excellent gifts for friends, after they get excited about how great yours are!

I place one bag in the cart,load it up and hold on to the other until check out. Then as the items are coming off the conveyor I am at the other end with another cart putting them all back in. Folds small which is great. Extremely sturdy construction. Well worth the money!

I love these bags--since there are just 2 of us I can fit just about everything into 2 and just make 2 trips in from the car! They are very cute, and the handles are holding up perfectly even though I PACK stuff in. They were a great deal, in my opinion, as compared to reusable bags. My only complaint is that the hooks don't reach both sides of the large half of the shopping cart, and that is a pain. Also I wish these had a little more side support, even if maybe they didn't fold down as small. Once I set them in the car, the sides kind of slouch down and allow my stuff to fall out. Or maybe if the top had material over it, or some kind of draw string system, something?? Not sure exactly what. :) Overall I love them!! Will definitely buy more when needed!

I purchased the expandable grocery cart bags for myself. Loved them so much, I have purchased them for all of my friends. Two will clip on in most grocery carts but some are wider and only one will clip on. I still take in two and load them again at check out. This has cut down on all of the unneccessary plastic or paper bags. Yeah!

These are the first reusable bags I've bought, and boy do they deliver. I love the way they hook onto the cart, making it a breeze to load! I have not had them long enough to attest to their durability, but I am glad I took the time to search for them. Every time I'm in the grocery store, people are always commenting on them, and I always tell them where I got them. Love how easy they are to carry, the handles are great, and that they have a sleeve to put them in when not in use. I will certainly be back for replacements when the time comes.

I love this product! It's easy to use in the store and easy to unload when home. The handles make it convenient to move from shopping cart to car. I love this bag - so much so I bought one for each of my family members and friends. The bag works great in any size cart, requiring you to put the bag at the end of the cart (if really large). The bags are strong, I've filled it up to the top with heavy items (glass jars, milk, etc)and the bag doesn't appear to have any strain. My favorite part is the check out. Put everything on the checkout, slide the cart forward to fill it up, then it's one bag from cart to car. It's great!

These bags are awesome and a great gift. They hold quite a bit, and I love using them to section the cart. They are also useful in knowing how much I should buy. I hate buying groceries and realizing I don"t have enough bags for all of them. This eliminates that problem and has a great pouch to holf my grocery list an coupons for what I have put in the bag.

I love these bags, but they take some getting used to. I haven't quite gotten used to them in my shopping routine. For grocery store purposes, they confused the sacker, and would work amazingly better if they had a hard bottom. They can get really heavy with normal groceries, and with nothing really supporting the weight evenly, it gets a little awkward once the shopping cart is gone. I did however use them at Target, and they were a little more applicable there, since the checker just handed the items back to me and I put them in the bags myself. They are definitely worth trying out, and I plan to cut some spare cardboard (perhaps from old boxes) to use in the base of the bags.

I've used mine and the grocery baggers love it--loading right into the cart means no lifting for them when I ask them to get EVERYTHING into one or two bags. Two fit perfectly in the cart and many other shoppers have asked me, "where did you get those bags?!" Second -- unique -- thing I've done is affix (using cable ties) one to the front of my elderly parent's aluminum walker so mom can carry some light items that are bulkier (skeins of yarn, tissues, the mail, an extra sweater, small purse, etc.). Works like a charm! Easy Bags are another useful 'hit' for Reusit.com! Happy holidays! Karen

I initially purchased this bag as a symptom of the very problem with which it now helps-- the dreaded impulse buy. I have a habit of forgetting my list and I noticed that I had started to go into a store with the Workhorse bags and find so many things at a "bargain" that I would not have enough bags and end up needing a plastic bag or two. No more! Now I unroll and hook the bag on my cart; if it doesn't fit into the bag, it doesn't get bought.

Now I can separate perishables, produce, frozen, etc. With the local grocery using the portable self-scanner I'm in and out in a flash and bagged the way I want.

I love Reisenthal products, and know their stuff is good quality, so I had no problem ordering 2 of these new products. They are super cute, relatively easy to get back in their carry case (always a plus!) definitely carry a ton of stuff and are easy to load. I even used one to carry school supplies, including my laptop. I couldn't give them 5 stars though because if you don't have them in a cart or hanging, they are a little hard to load. Also, the hooks that hold them to the cart catch when being carried. I think these straps are a little short to carry on the shoulder, which is what I LOVE about the mini-maxi bags. All in all, I'm glad I got these, they are a great enhancement to my reusable bag arsenal, but they are more of an enhancement than essential. They would be really good if you shop at stores with checkers/baggers that give you a hard time about your reusable bags, these are by far the easiest to load.

After querying Customer Service to get more specifics about this new product offering, I bought two bags to try them out. I'm glad I did! They are capacious, sturdily constructed, clean up easily and will support a surprising weight load. Their long handles let me shoulder-carry them when full. I also like the Velcroed closure; this feature keeps items securely inside whether the bags are being carried or placed in a basket or vehicle. When empty the bags fold up to fit inside their slim carrying cases. I find these cart bags work best at stores with the Euro-sized shopping carts like those found at Whole Foods and Aldi. But they do surprisingly well at big-box and warehouse stores like Costco, where the checkout system lets you (or helpers) reload them with your purchases while they're still mounted on the cart. I have gotten a lot of admiring inquiries about these bags from fellow shoppers, so I hope their sales and usage will increase.

The Reisenthel Easybag is an awesome product. It comes in 4 different colors/designs and is a generous size. I found that it fits in all the carts I have tried. (Grocery Stores as well as Wal-mart Super Centers.) The fabric is strong but lightweight so it fits easily back into the carrying bag. I could fit a lot into the bag with no problems, but was sure to stay under 25 pounds. I'm confident that it can support up to the 25 pounds it claims, but I would not push it more than that. You wouldn't want to break it! Just put the milk, juice and other heavy items in the cart and not this bag. Then you can fill this bag with produce, bread, clothes, cosmetics, etc. The handles velcro together nicely, making it easy to carry. There is also a velcro closure at the top of the bag which is handy in the car because things can't fall out of the filled bag! I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it!

The Reisenthel Shopping Cart Basket is a great way to carry all your groceries without getting those pesky plastic grocery bags. My only issue is that these reusable bags are not made for heavier items, such as milk, juice, etc. The plastic cart holders (the parts that hang onto the sides of the shopping cart) are not strong enough to carry heavier items, such as drinks or heavy fruits. I bought 2 because when I shop, it's usually a good amount (we are a family of 5, soon to be 6). I wish the bag material was a little bit thicker and stronger. Nothing has happened so far and I try not to purchase too much just so that I don't put too much weight on the bags. As for the plastic cart holders, it seemed like they were about to bend under the pressure of my heavier items but they held up so far. The last issue is that I kind of get poked under my armpits by those plastic cart holders when I carry the bag handles over my shoulders. They kind of dig in there so I try to carry them off my shoulders, except when they are heavy. I guess I better just purchase lighter products! All in all, saves on plastic, makes me feel better about the environment, and carries a lot of stuff (just make sure you don't pack them with too many heavy items!).
