Design & Functionality
SIGGs are safe reusable bottles that do not leach toxins into its contents. Reusable, lightweight & durable, these bottles can take a hit without compromising the interior lining. About 20% lighter weight than comparably sized Lexan plastic bottles, SIGGs are incredibly durable, virtually unbreakable though they may dent to absorb falls or hits. Just ask the guys at Backpacker magazine who recently tested the leading bottle brands and crowned SIGG as "The World’s Toughest Water Bottle".
Fashionable as they are functional, each year SIGG launches exciting new designs from artists around the world. Much like a fashion house, SIGG rotates and drops designs to keep things fresh. Materials
Designed and manufactured in Switzerland from a single piece of pure aluminum, each bottle is perfectly extruded for uniform, seamless construction. The brilliant exterior of a SIGG is created using a solvent-free, eco-friendly, powder-based coating which is baked on to create a vibrant finish.
SIGG reusable bottles have been thoroughly tested in the U.S. and Europe to ensure no leaching of any aluminum or liner contents. We only carry bottles with SIGG's EcoCare liner, which is independently tested to be 100% free of BPA, phthalates, BADGE, BFDGE, and NOGE. The proprietary EcoCare liner is a bake-on, polymer powder coating which is sprayed evenly onto the bottle interior and bonded to the aluminum shell at nearly 200 degrees Celsius to form a permanent, flexible barrier. Just 40 microns thick, this coating comprises only a few grams per bottle and in no way interferes with the ultimate recycling of your SIGG. The liner is taste-neutral and resistant to fruit acids and energy drinks, ensuring that your drinks taste like your drinks every time.

Aluminum is one of the most environmentally friendly materials in the world because it is extremely easy to recycle, regaining nearly all of its properties and making it ideal for repurposing.
Single-use, disposable water bottles (PET plastic) create millions of tons of unnecessary waste each year. In fact, according to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled – most wind up in landfills where they can take up to 1000 years to biodegrade. Using SIGG bottles helps replace wasteful, use-and-toss single serving plastic and paper beverage containers, while saving you money in the process. Reusing durable SIGG bottles ultimately helps you consume less over time.

Care Instructions
- Do not freeze your SIGG aluminum bottle – it will crack!
- Rinsing your SIGG thoroughly under the faucet with warm, soapy water at the end of every day and letting it air dry with the top off provides sufficient cleaning in most cases
- When more thorough cleaning is required, you can use baking soda and vinegar
- For tough jobs, pick up some SIGG cleaning tablets or Skweet and a SIGG brush
- Do not use a hard bristled brush to clean the interior of your SIGG bottle as this may damage the liner.

Love this bottle with the colourful figures on it.I now drink more water daily, and take this bottle and a 1.5L Traveller for trips between Polokwane and Pretoria (a 520km round trip)

Love the Sigg water bottles. They're solid, made in Switzerland, stainless steel. There are different top options. The traditional one is a turn option. The problem with it is you have to suck more to get your water, so little kids tend to not drink as much with them. It's also easy for them to not realize it isn't closed, and have it leak in the backpack. With the newer cap option, you press a spot and it opens up the top. It automatically closes, so there's less leaking. You need two brains to figure it out at first. My seven year old loves it. They have some new designs that are lovely - a pink Indian one, a retro Hello Kitty one, funky skull that makes them interesting. By Dona N

I actually bought 2, one to replace my younger daughter's smaller 400 ml bottles and one for myself. Since I bought one for myself I have been drinking more water and hey, it's pretty stylish too! The construction is so tough. My daughters both have SIGG bottles for school and they get pretty knocked around, but they still function well after 4+ years. I would recommend them to anyone. Wow, This is my 2nd SIGG bottle and I seem to have set a trend! The Keith Haring design is recognizable to most people and I've had several comments on it. A lot of people think that you can only get this bottle from a museum gift store, but I set them straight right away. I like that this bottle is mostly silver, my other SIGG is all black. I definitely prefer to use the hanging cap instead of the sports cap. I love these bottles!! By Holly J
