Design & Functionality
SIGGs are safe reusable bottles that do not leach toxins into its contents. Reusable, lightweight & durable, these bottles can take a hit without compromising the interior lining. About 20% lighter weight than comparably sized Lexan plastic bottles, SIGGs are incredibly durable, virtually unbreakable though they may dent to absorb falls or hits. Just ask the guys at Backpacker magazine who recently tested the leading bottle brands and crowned SIGG as "The World’s Toughest Water Bottle".
Fashionable as they are functional, each year SIGG launches exciting new designs from artists around the world. Much like a fashion house, SIGG rotates and drops designs to keep things fresh. SIGG reusable bottles are beautifully designed - in fact, SIGG bottles are part of the permanent Design Collection at the NY Museum of Modern Art.
Materials
Designed and manufactured in Switzerland from a single piece of pure aluminum, each bottle is perfectly extruded for uniform, seamless construction. The brilliant exterior of a SIGG is created using a solvent-free, eco-friendly, powder-based coating which is baked on to create a vibrant finish.
SIGG reusable bottles have been thoroughly tested in the U.S. and Europe to ensure no leaching of any aluminum or liner contents. We only carry bottles with SIGG's EcoCare liner, which is independently tested to be 100% free of BPA, phthalates, BADGE, BFDGE, and NOGE. The proprietary EcoCare liner is a bake-on, polymer powder coating which is sprayed evenly onto the bottle interior and bonded to the aluminum shell at nearly 200 degrees Celsius to form a permanent, flexible barrier. Just 40 microns thick, this coating comprises only a few grams per bottle and in no way interferes with the ultimate recycling of your SIGG. The liner is taste-neutral and resistant to fruit acids and energy drinks, ensuring that your drinks taste like your drinks every time.

Aluminum is one of the most environmentally friendly materials in the world because it is extremely easy to recycle, regaining nearly all of its properties and making it ideal for repurposing.
Single-use, disposable water bottles (PET plastic) create millions of tons of unnecessary waste each year. In fact, according to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled – most wind up in landfills where they can take up to 1000 years to biodegrade. Using SIGG bottles helps replace wasteful, use-and-toss single serving plastic and paper beverage containers, while saving you money in the process. Reusing durable SIGG bottles ultimately helps you consume less over time.

Care Instructions
- Do not freeze your SIGG aluminum bottle – it will crack!
- Rinsing your SIGG thoroughly under the faucet with warm, soapy water at the end of every day and letting it air dry with the top off provides sufficient cleaning in most cases
- When more thorough cleaning is required, you can use baking soda and vinegar
- For tough jobs, pick up some SIGG cleaning tablets or Skweet and a SIGG brush
- Do not use a hard bristled brush to clean the interior of your SIGG bottle as this may damage the liner.

I have some 6 yr old sigg bottles where the plastic dome cap has a loop on one end that you slip over the neck of the bottle before you screw the top on....so I wasn't sure if this newer style flip dome would work...but it fits perfectly and is nicer than the old design as it is all one piece now and you don't have to worry about losing the dome lid....like I did! My 2 year old daughter loves her SIGG hello kitty bottle but chews on the spout so i've been having to replace the entire bottle every few weeks and she's taken to breaking the caps, now I can just replace the spout and cap without having to replace the whole bottle very happy mom! I love the dust cap, don't have to worry about germs on the spout. Bought the bottle top for my son (14 mos), so it runs a little fast for him, plus it's not leak proof, so he sometimes turns it over and spills water. Not really complaining about that because I realize this isn't made for such a young child. Sometimes a little hard to twist open/close. Overall, a good product. By Harriet D

These are great. My children (ages 5 - 9) find them easy to use and it's my favourite top to drink from as well. The design is very thoughtful - you can't close the dust cap unless the nozzle is twisted closed first, which prevents leaks, and they pop apart easily to clean. The new cap is a great improvement from the old one which broke too easily and then wouldn't close properly. The only problem I find is that my 3 1/2 year old has a hard time twisting the nozzle open. It does take a little muscle to open it and I he needs help when in day care. It would be great if they made it a little easier for smaller hands to manipulate. Other than that, it's a great bottle top. By Cassandra H

These are so much better than the old kid's caps. The old removable cap used to really annoy my four year old daughter, so I ended up leaving it off, which then left the bottle cap unprotected. The flip top caps are great and she has no problem with them. She can also open and close the caps by herself, which was also another problem withe the old ones. Plus, you can get different colors. Highly recommended, especially to replace your old caps if you are still using those!View All
