It's nice and wide for a proper piece of bread; a bit shallow for thick sandwiches. The two together fit inside the Built large lunch boxes; not much room around them for an apple or juice. I also would have liked the extra lid to have the option of using them separately. Looks like it will last longer than the Fit and Fresh lunch pods, but their ice packs are handier!!

This is such a great idea for saving space in lunch boxes.

There is more than enough room for a sandwich in each container, or you can put a sandwich in one, and chips in the other. It works well too.

3.0 Not Quite Sold on This Yet

I purchased this because I have been using Wrap N' Mats for my sandwiches and I was thinking that this might be a little more sanitary (I love my Wrap N' Mats, but I hate that I can only wipe down the interior) and possibly keep my sandwiches a little more fresh. Believe it or not, the Wrap N' Mats actually do a better job at keeping the sandwich fresh. I do love that I can put this in the dishwasher, but it takes up more space and I don't ever use the bottom container, so I wish that I just had an extra lid so I could make two containers out of it.

3.0 Much bigger than expected.

I admit I did not read the dimensions when I ordered this product. I used the picture as my gauge. That must be a huge slice of bread in the picture. It is much too big for my lunch bag and my sandwich. I ended up buying the container at the market that is shaped like a slice of bread. That one fits very well in my lunch tote I was initially very disappointed in this purchase it was just too bulky. However I did end up using it this summer at the concerts in the park. It worked out perfect. I put fresh fruit (enough for two people) in one container and meat and cheese in another. All turned out well.

4.0 great for cold snacks

the snaps are easy to open, even for my little ones. they don't seem to be microwaveable, should you want to heat something up later, but that's fine. it would be nice if at least one tray had a divider. other than that, a great way to stop using plastic baggies for snacks.
