This thermos is fabulous! It fits great in lunch box. When I take the lid off steam actually comes out! Where I work I don't have access to a microwave but now I'll be able to have hit food all winter long!

During these times when I want to avoid the use of a microwave altogether, it's a wonderful treat to open up this thermos while at work and enjoy hot delicious foods immediately. Wonderful product! Never leaks, always dependable. The additional spoon kept falling off the inner lid so I've kept the spoon at home.

I had the other Thermos which my Kindergartner mostly uses for hot lunches at school. He was always saying that his food was close to room temperature when lunchtime came around so I invested in 2 of these heavier duty Thermos containers. They are AWESOME!! Everything is still hot after 5 hours and he loves the added bonus of the foldable spoon. Great product!

This is a great thermos. I use it to bring hot soups or stews to work and it keeps my lunch hot for 6-7 hours. The spoon isn't the greatest, but it is usable and this is still a wonderful product. It washes easily and the mouth of the jar is wide enough to pour things in right from the pot without spilling all over your counter.

I purchased this almost 6 months ago for my son to use for his lunches at school. He says the kids at his lunch table are always amazed when he opens it at noon and steam escapes as the food is still hot. I prepare it by filling it with boiling water for 20 minutes prior to placing soups or pastas into it, and the food is still warm 4-5 hours later. Easy to clean with the wide mouth opening. I would recommend this item to anyone, it hasn't leaked yet, and he is a typical high schooler - I'm sure it isn't always upright! I don't think you will be disappointed.

I bought the thermos for my daughter to use at school, and it's perfect. It's a good size for her backpack, and it doesn't leak. Plus, the wide mouth makes it easy to clean. I highly recommend this product!

My soup stays hot for about 3 hours. I put this in an insulated lunch bag and it will stay hot for up to 5 hours. It hasn't leaked and the spoon is handy.

I love my 16 oz. Thermos, easy to carry, good size. The spoon is helpful, and since it is stored on the cover, it is always ready and available. Absolutely great product, as are all Thermos products for the most part. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a compact thermos bottle to carry soups, coffee, etc., that need to keep warm for 5-6 hours.

the thermos is well made and appears very durable. the spoon folds up and snaps in. However, the lid (which becomes the bowl) is stainless steel on the outside, but they dont mention that it is LINED WITH PLASTIC! YUCK! That was very disappoining!!!

After searching and reading several reviews about the variety of thermos food containers, I settled on this one. I was sick of microwaving my food everyday, and following a suggestion from a colleague, I decided to start using a stainless steel thermos to keep my food hot! Oh my goodness, you will NOT go wrong with this item! I put soup in it at 7am in the morning, and it's still piping hot at 1pm when I eat lunch!! It will hold an entire can of Chunky or Progresso soup, which are normally two servings per can, so you have more than enough to eat! It's a bit pricey, but trust me, it is so well worth it! I use this everyday! I just ordered two more---one for a Christmas gift,and the other to put my oatmeal or grits in, when I'm rushing in the mornings and don't have time to eat breakfast at home. Oh yes!! There's a tip that's included with the thermos: If you're putting hot foods in it, then put some hot water in the thermos for about 5 minutes before adding the hot food. It extends the time that your food will maintain it's heat. It's not necessary as I've used it without putting hot water in it prior to adding my food, and my food remained just as hot. I've actually placed this container in my Built NY lunch bag with ice packs to keep my other foods like yogurt and fruit cool, and it still didn't affect the heat within the thermos. Also, there is a cute little spoon that extends to full sized enclosed in the lid. Very handy! You won't go wrong with this one! :)

I bought this as a birthday present for my girlfriend to take warm lunches to work. I was worried that it might be too small, and that the food would get cold. She says neither is true. She loves it and says that it keeps her lunches hot. Forget about the included spoon, that's just a marketing gimmick. I'm thinking of buying one for myself now.

This really holds the food HOT. My biggest critics are my kids and they love it. They can finally take hot pasta or soup to school and have a hot meal. But, you MUST follow the instructions. I recommend that you allow the BOILING HOT water to sit in the thermos for a minimum of 15 minutes. Keep in mind you must put piping hot food into the container. The kids tell me that when they open the thermos hot steam comes out and the food is nice and warm. I typically fill the thermos with food around 7:00am and the kids eat lunch anywhere from 12:15 to 1:00 pm. It really seems to work. This was worth the money!
