We bought these mugs 20 years ago and they are still great. Decided to buy two more recently for friends. They don't leak and they keep liquids hot for a long time. Reuseit.com was great too. I had a question which they answered promptly and the mugs arrived a couple of days later. Perfection!

This is the fifth Nissan mug I've purchased. They are the best because they don't spill and keep your drink hot. I have dropped mine many times and still they don't spill and only dent a bit on the plastic.

I have been looking for this mug for about a year. The one I have now is about 5 years old and has lost a lot of its insulating ability. My coffee stays warm for about two hours. After five years I am not complaining at all .NowbI can order a new one and once again have hot coffee all day.

My husband and I have been lamenting the loss of a specific type of Contigo mug for awhile. We've tried a bunch of others and have hated all of them. We finally decided to try the Thermos mugs and are in love! They are sturdy, seal very well (no leaks even when tossed in bags), and are comfortable to hold. Love the addition of a carabiner to snap to bags. It was one of the things that sold it to my husband. My only complaint - it only holds 14 oz! I wish it held more, but that's not a real issue. There's always more coffee to fill it with.

This is a GREAT travel mug. I recently moved to NYC, and I love my morning coffee, but I never seem to have enough time to drink coffee in my apartment. Buying coffee in Manhattan every day is convenient and tempting, but not the best way to save money. The problem I had with other travel mugs was that they had to held upright so they wouldn't leak all over the place. This would be fine for a cup holder in a car if I was driving to work, but not at all convenient when you are speed walking through the streets of NYC. This mug has a handle, which makes it easy and comfortable to hold, and it doesn't have to be held upright, because there is no leakage at all! I also love the opening of the mug, because you don't have to unscrew it all the way off to drink out of it. All you have to do is unscrew it a small amount, and then you can drink out of it easily. And it's perfect to use as I check my morning email at the office, because even if I were to knock it over while the top was unscrewed to drink out of, very little would come out, and I imagine practically no damage could be done. Finally, it keeps my coffee warm and fresh through my 45 minute commute. It's well worth the price. I will never need another travel mug again!

I was given one of these by my sister who owned a coffee shop. It sat neglected because I don't drink coffee. When my boyfriend said he wanted a travel mug for coffee, I gave him this one and he's so happy with it, he's actually said to me he'd be super upset if it ever got destroyed or lost. Luckily, this thing is built like a tank. It keeps coffee and other beverages really hot for hours, it has a rubber/plastic composite base that protects it from drops and impacts so it will always sit level, and it has a nice wide mouth for easy cleaning (I have small hands and can put my whole hand inside in order to clean it really well, or you can use a scrub brush). The best thing though is that it doesn't leak. You can throw it in a bag and, as long as you've screwed the lid on tight, all the liquid stayed inside. The handle gives enough clearance for cup holders in cars (we rent cars or Autoshare when we need to drive and we've never met a cup holder this doesn't fit into) and it's well-designed and balanced so it doesn't tip over easily. And it's so durable. My boyfriend skateboards and this mug has survived so much abuse. There are dents and scrapes all over this thing (he has wiped out more than once and landed on his backpack, mug strapped to the side) and it hasn't affected the performance of this mug at all. Expensive but so worth it. He's saved so many paper cups using this thing. There are some imitators out there but Nissin thermoses are the best.
