While my husband could not imagine using the stainless steel carrier, my 11 yr old son was very into it. He loved all the latches and spaces to put things. He also loved that the bamboo utensils had chop sticks. When he took it to school, it attracted attention from students and staff from the time he got on the bus, to lunch, and under his chair. I am quite happy with this lunch box. It's deceiving, in that it really doesn't look that big, but it fits a ton of food. The first day I used it, I packed it to the brim, and couldn't finish everything. My only complaint is that you can't pop it in the microwave. Didn't even THINK of that when buying it. But nevertheless, it's a solid, well-made product. And the bamboo cutlery is quite nice. Functional and attractive. By Nancy E

This is a perfect set. For me it holds enough for 2 meals. And I am an athletic 6'2 270lb man. This set is very easy to clean and attractive in the office refrigerator. It has 2 large sections. Either which could hold a sandwich and the other can hold soup, salad, pasta, ect. And there is a smaller container that is snack-pack size. It's perfect for dried fruit, nuts or salad dressings. The entire unit has been water tight for me (good for soups). Now I can bring healthy foods anywhere I go. This item is a must have! By roberta w

I purchased the Stainless Steel Bento for my husband who is somewhat of a klutz. We recently had one that was made of Melamine that he loved but broke several times. The lunch kit has a great size and fits more food than I can eat. The bottom is great for a good sized salad and the top for crackes, humus,sandwich... just about anything else. It's nice looking too... and washes easily... Just a little soap and water and they're good to go! The Utensil set is great too... good sized and feel solid.. not flimsy.. The utensil set is a wonderful gift. We love them. We even take them to asian restaurants so we don't have to throw away their chopsticks after we use them. We just take ours home and wash them. They're beautiful, very sturdy, and fit comfortably in your hand. They go wonderfully with the Stainless Steel Carrier , which fits perfectly in a Built NY® Gourmet Getaway - Large Insulated Lunch / Tote Bag to keep your food hot or cold when going back home, etc. Our Stainless Steel Carrier seems to be perfect for leftovers for two, supply each person with a separate compartment. Loved the Carrier it is great though I wish it had three tiers, but it is a nice compact size. The bamboo set is not great. The spoon is way too shallow and the fork is odd in the mouth and the Knife? not sure it that is supposed to be a knife...or what...doesn't cut anything that I can think of maybe cake? Also it seems like a good idea but in practice it is a pain to carry around the long knit cover the silverware always falls out and gets dirty. Much prefer stainless steel pocketknife silverware, it's compact and won't fall all about the place. By mary m

i actually bought this set directly from the manufacturer because I thought I only wanted the to-go ware chopsticks, fork, knife and spoon. Well, I ended up buying the whole kit and kaboodle and am glad I did. I'm the envy of all my colleagues. The chopsticks transport easily and people are always asking me where I got the. I point them to reusablebags and tell them that they can buy the chico and acme bags that I carry on this site as well. Great option for the person wanting to leave a small footprint. Only thing you need now is the cotton sling that goes with this set. That would make it complete. Otherwise, this is a great option. By Francesca B

Wonderful product. My girls take them to school everyday. My five year old enjoys opening it and taking out the parts. The bottom can fit sandwiches nicely and I particularly enjoy how something cold can be separated from something at room temperature.
