These are the perfect snack containers for muffins, and for anything else that you don't want squished in the kids' lunches. I have been using them for a few years and needed to add a few more to my collection. My most recent order did not make me as happy. The containers are unreasonably difficult to open. My boys are 6 and 8, but I just handed one to my husband to open for me too. Sort of defeats the purpose of sending kids to school with snack if they can't get in. Would make a great bear box.

I already have this in the smaller size, so I knew what I was getting. I love these little round tins, and the lids fit just right. Great for snacks - in fact great for lots of things. A quality product.

I bought two of these for my son's lunch. I like them. They serve their purpose. They are good for sending veggies to school.



However... one of them came with the base slightly out of round and so it is difficult to put the lid on. I don't know if that is a manufacturing issue, stocking issue, or shipment issue. The other thing - they don't stack! They don't stack closed, they don't stack open (empty). The lid even has a small indention; it would be nice if the base of another one would sit in it. Instead, the edge of the base sits on the edge of the lid and they easily know over. So this means they take up tons of room in the cabinet and then fall over easily. Or get knocked over in the fridge.

I used these for my kids' school lunches every day. They hold a good selection of sliced veggies like a combo of cucumber, celery, carrots, broccoli and grape tomatoes. Or a selection of fruit like grapes. I use the small sidekicks for a mixture of seeds & dried fruit, and the large one for bigger items. They're easy for kids to remove lids and stack really well inside a lunch box or tiffin (or even fabric bags such as ours). They're not water-proof but there are other great stainless steel containers for that purpose we use as well. I've also used them for other purposes like transporting vitamins or protein powder. These will probably last forever at our house, even being used daily!

I like that these do not have any plastic. They are a good size for my sons' lunches. I do wish that they were watertight but I understand the challenges there.
