I have bought several of these in different sizes (including the now available jumbo) over the last 6 months, so this is a review of how they have lasted. To my surprise, I am still using the original ones that have been hand washed and line dried at least 75 times! They are sagging, have lost their beeswax smell, and some threads are coming undone, but they still work very well in sealing and keeping leftovers fresh.
I loved putting away my Saran Wrap! These work very well. They don't seem as if they are air tight, but the food does not dry out, so I guess they are. I use them mostly to cover leftover plates, slices of pizza, open cans of salmon or tuna, and cut tomatoes and cucumbers. I did not like the beeswax smell, but that has faded with washing. I do wish the manufacturer would make an extra large size (just a few more inches on each side) as the large doesn't cover my bigger square dinner plates (I just use 2 of the large ones, so it works out okay). These are very easy to wash and line dry, though the pizza stains do not come out, which is not a big deal to me.
These are great for covering dinner plates & bowls after the kiddos decide they want to eat the rest of their meal later. I've used them a few times to cover watermelon halves and veggies, but it's not as easy to seal them. They also seem to be working better now in the warmer weather, or maybe they've just gotten a bit less stiff with use.
They have been easy to clean, and they smell awesome and beeswax-y whenever I use them -- a lovely bonus. You do have to let them dry completely before using them again, and as stated in the directions, they won't stick well right out of the fridge.
