We launched our reuseit™ line (formerly ACME Bags™) in 2002 as part of our obsession to provide consumers the most sustainable, practical reusable bags available (back then there were slim pickings for reusable shopping bags that met our high standards - so we took matters into our own hands). Our critically acclaimed house brand now features 60+ styles with many more in the works. Several have become customer favorites and best sellers.

Constant Improvement

Part of our ongoing mission is to incorporate truly sustainable fabrics into our reuseit™ line.

After years of hard work, Earth Day 2007 marked the introduction of our first basic, high-quality bag made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles (Next Generation PET). In their first year, sales of these products helped divert over 200,000 bottles from landfills. As of summer 2008 we offer over 30 items made from recycled plastic bottles, including our first Made in the USA line - all part of a long-term commitment to provide the highest quality, most sustainable product out there. We estimate that by end of 2008 the number of bottles saved will eclipse 750,000. One of our long-term goals is to offer only synthetics that are made from 100% post-consumer recycled content.
