I guess I needed to get out a ruler and see the actual measurements because this lunch bag was a total waste for me. It will not hold two bottles, two plastic containers, two glasses which is what I wanted. I would consider this bag to be a small. I love these bags. We have been using these for 3 years now and I won't buy any other bag for my kid's lunches. They fit everything including a 6L Sigg bottle, but are not to bulky for my kids to handle (kinder and 2nd grade). Would recommend them to anyone. This bag is much smaller than it appears on the website. The design is also poor. The opening at the top is not wide enough to allow you to get containers in. You also can't fit a taller type water bottle (SIG or similar aluminum bottle) because they are too tall. I am returning this bag as it does not fit my needs. I am so Pleased with this bag. I have been using it for about 4 months for my sons school lunches and I want to get one for myself! It is easy to clean and the ice pack really does keep his food cold all day. I use the pocket for dry foods and slide the ice pack down in the back and it works great! A year after my son started using a lead tainted lunchbox (unbeknownst to me) he was diagnosed with a sensory disorder. I started reading up on chemical free products and in the process, found out that lead has been known to cause autism, as well as the sensory disorder my son has. The only drawback is the size of the slot for the ice pack -- I wish it were deeper so that the ice pack goes all the way down to the bottom of the bag. This is the second year that we ordered the lunch bag for our son. We like your bag for many reasons. First, there is no chemical smell (some bags are lead-free but the vinyl or other linings smell terrible like they have carcinogens in them). Second the size is perfect for our son's lunch and water; plus we like the pocket for either the ice pack or a smaller item. This year we like the new color selection -- we like the brown one with black handle; it looks great! Great lunchbox!....Great size & the insulation is the best I've ever seen. When my 6th grade son gets home from school after 7 & 1/2 hours, the ice pack is still partially frozen, and the contents of the lunchbox still very cold to the touch (as cold as they were when they were put in). I wasn't quite sure what to expect size-wise since some reviews noted it was too small. I'm happy to say I find it's plenty big enough & wouldn't want it any bigger. I am very happy with this bag because it had all the qualities I was looking for in an insulated lunch bag - no PVC, no lead. However, it was much smaller than I thought it would be. I am very glad I bought the LARGE bag instead of the MEDIUM in this case. The bag also shrunk when I washed it. When I look at the "lunch bag size guide" I feel that the MEDIUM size more accurately describes what I can fit into this bag as opposed to the LARGE size. Perfect pink bag for my seven-year-old second grader, who is in an "I love pink" phase. We plan to use fabric markers or embroidery or something to decorate the bag and make it uniquely hers. Insulates several small-to-medium reusable containers plus a drink bottle inside, has a pocket for the included flexible ice pack (or could be used to hold the napkin and utensils), and is easy to wipe clean or to machine wash, air dry. Even when full, it isn't too heavy for her to carry around, and has sufficient flexibility to fit easily in an L.L. Bean standard backpack with books, folder, shoes, and a smaller snack bag. I really, really like this bag. No, it's not huge, as some other reviewers (especially for other colors of the same bag) have noted, but it is sufficient. If I don't try to fit in a drink container, I can get in breakfast and lunch both. Probably the best part of the bag, though, is the insulation - the bag is so well insulated that if I put in the freezer pack, food will still be cool - though the pack will no longer be frozen - 12 hours later. This is handy for someone who teaches on two campuses and ends up eating in stages. :) If I need extra room, I can leave out the freezer pack, and as long as food is straight from the fridge, it will still be cool at lunch time. It's a nicely designed bag, but for a "large" one it is way small. It would need probably another 1" depth and maybe another 2" width to cut it. I like to take coffee with me (standard Starbucks thermal mug with no handle- 9" tall) and canned soup, except that the bag is so narrow for even small, round topperware to lay flat that I have to take the can AND the empty topperware to avoid any spilling. I love these bags. Each of my kids have two and I have one for myself. They are plenty big enough for a kids' lunch - holding a small sized thermos plus a soup thermos, as well as several other items. I always tuck an ice pack in the front pocket. The velcro closure stays closed. My kids almost never eat school lunches so we use these pretty much every day and they still look almost new. They clean up well with soap and water and I know that they are safe and eco-friendly which makes me feel good. Initially my kids wanted lunchboxes like their friends have - with characters - but they agreed to try these after I explained that some lunchboxes are dangerous. I thought we could decorate these to make them more fun, however, once they started using these they forgot all about wanting the others and have never asked for anything else. Now that they are a couple of years older (6 & 9) they understand more about protecting the environment and want to use these lunchboxes to do their part. I bought this lunchbox for my 7 year old son. He really likes it. It holds everything he needs for lunch. Comes with a cold pack and a pocket to put it in. I use the pocket to store his milkbox. Perfect size. The only problem I have with the lunchbox is that there is no place to write his name. I ended up using masking tape and its not the best solution. By Vickie W

I was surprised how small this bag really is was. It fits a drink, sandwhich, and maybe chips. The insulation is so thick on the bag it seems to take up most the room. It does insulated food really well and my daughter never takes much food with her to school. It is a nice simple design, just wish the insides had more room. By Barbara K

I purchased the Camo Large Insulated Lunch Bag for my 11 year old son's daily school lunch. He loves the Camo look. He loves that the strap is long enough to sling across his body; and we both love the fact that there is a separate pouch in which we put the freeze pack. Only one suggestion, is put a small velcro stap to hold the freeze pack in the back when it gets turned upside down. Oh, we also love the fact that the bag can be machine washed! Great colors and very well made. I've used a lot of reusable lunch bags. The problem when you have a large bag is that it doesn't keep your food cold. This bag is the perfect compromise. Large enough to fit most things, but small enough to keep things cold. Adding an ice pak is also a great touch! By Sara I

Eh. Love the color. Love the reusable materials. Love the concept. Really wanted to try this out. But I'm just not crazy about the design. I need a lunch sack for my 3 year old and had hoped for a more messenger style container. This one is tall and skinny and snug for containers. I think this product would be better for all (adults included) if the bag were more of a square with a zipper opening and a strap you could sling over a shoulder or across your body for hands free carrying. I give it a C+. I won't order another bag for my other child.View All
