Sustainability These bags can help you eliminate thousands of paper and plastic bags over their lifetimes. Our wide range of reusable bags are built to last, which saves both money and natural resources. Our lightweight, organic-cotton muslin bags offer a smart way to cut down on another major source of plastic bag waste - plastic produce bags. Plus, they’re grown without harsh chemicals. On average, Americans toss out 25% of the produce they’ve purchased just because it’s spoiled. Our produce savers help reduce this waste by absorbing ethylene gas and humidity to slow the spoiling process, saving produce and money, too.
Materials Tote: Made from heavyweight, 600-denier coated Cordura nylon, a fabric prized for its tremendous strength, durability and abrasion resistance.
Produce bags: Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, at least for now, costs a bit more. But it's worth it since it doesn't contain any hidden costs to our environment. This bag can help you eliminate thousands of plastic bags over its lifetime. Our wide range of reusable bags are also built to last, which saves both money and natural resources.
Produce savers: Made of FDA approved, food-safe Dupont Tyvek, which is made of HDPE (#2 recyclable plastic). The packet contains montomoillonite and potassium permanganate, which are safe, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, non-caustic and non-irritating.

Care Instructions EarthTote & produce bags: Machine wash cold, drip dry.
Produce savers: Always keep produce savers dry. Keep unused produce savers in zip-lock bag.
To dispose of produce savers: Minerals are safe enough to toss into the garden, but please note that potassium permanganate is basically a salt and will harm plants if there is too much in the soil. If this is a concern, dispose of in the garbage.
Tips
- Keep your produce saver in an empty plastic berry container in your crisper. It will keep the saver dry while allowing for air circulation.
