Our convenient, lightweight 100%-recycled lunch bag sends a clever message about over-consumption of disposables: "I'm not a Paper Bag." We even made it an authentic paper bag brown, so it's a reusable version of an iconic disposable lunch bag. Manufactured and screen printed in Chicago, IL, this durable lunch bag cancels out its own small carbon footprint in just a few uses. Each lead-free lunch bag is handmade with reinforced stitching on the single handle. Because it's built to last, it will help you eliminate thousands of paper bags over its lifetime.
My middle-school aged son loves his lunch bag. He was at the age to be embarrassed by a regular lunch bag, but agreed it was wasteful to use a paper bag every day. This seems to be an acceptable alternative, and I like that I can put it in the wash when it gets dirty. It is plenty big enough for a sandwich, small drink, chips and a small bag of cookies, room to spare even. The Velcro closure is very secure, and the bag and handle very sturdy. Only complaint is that it is a little expensive for what it is.
I have to be honest and say my 12 year old wasn't so crazy about this bag when she saw it on the internet (i had already ordered it) and when it came in person but after using it the first day and her friend complimented her on it then I guess that helped. I think it was the writing "I'm not a paper bag" that she wasn't sure of but overall, the bag is great. She complained of her wet water bottle putting a hole in the paper bags from last year and of course I didn't like the fact of waste, so i figured this was the best alternative. It is large inside and holds her three snacks, water bottle, juice box, and sandwich perfectly. The handle is nice and the material is durable. The inside is not lined to keep things cold but that's not an issue. She's in middle school and most of the lunch boxes that are "cool" aren't so you have to cut corners somewhere. I'm glad I purchased this, def worth the $.
the bag is cute, but i thought it was gonna be alittle bit bigger and less taller. i also thought it had to strings. i still love and enjoy it everywhere i go.
