Design and Functionality
Reuseit Recycled PET Mesh Produce Bags are ideal replacements for plastic produce bags. Super-strong recycled PET fabric can hold several pounds of produce, such as apples, oranges, broccoli and other leafy vegetables. Because they are made of synthetic material, you can rinse your produce right in the bag. The drawstring pull keeps your contents secure. Fine mesh is great for bulk foods like dried fruit and nuts and as all-purpose gift or party favor bags. Plus, they’re extremely lightweight and see-through, so it’s easy for clerks to see and weigh your produce in the checkout line. When not in use, the bags fold away into a tiny drawstring stuff sack. Stuff sack also makes a great snack bag.

Materials
EcoCircle provides a closed-loop recycling system for polyester products, producing a recycled polyester fiber with the same strength and durability as new fiber. Unlike virgin nylon, it does not require the use of petroleum, so this cradle-to-cradle system reduces trash production as well as oil consumption. About EcoCircle
EcoCircle is a closed-loop recycling system for used polyester products. The system employs the world's first technology for chemical recycling, which chemically decomposes polyester for conversion into new polyester raw materials that offer purity comparable to virgin polyester, which is derived from petroleum. Compared to developing polyester materials from petroleum, this repeatable recycling system reduces energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 80% each.

I started using the produce bags when I go to the grocery store and I love them! They are

the perfect size for my fruits and vegetables. They are easy to wash/dry and I love the

color. I highly recommend this product. I was so sick and tired of using the cheap

plastic bags at the store that always ripped while I was putting my produce in them.

It is great to not be bothered with those anymore.

This is my Favorite of non-plastic produce bags I have seen so far.



Very compact to carry. Protects produce and also the shopping bag very well but you and the cashier can still see through to identify produce. The medium size holds several apples, maybe 5, small bunches of greens like cilantro, etc.

I love these bags! I have used the muslin ones in the past and it is always a hassle for the grocery clerk to read the code on the stickers...now they just look at what is in the bag! A real time saver in the check out line! Love love love them!

These recycled PET produce bags are sized right to allow for

use with most produce and fruits...basically anything that would normally need a plastic produce bag.

Guess you get my excitement about virtually never needing to use plastic bags.

Great as gifts...I've already done that too.

After showing these to friends they also purchased the 4 pack.

Nice and light, but sturdy. Long items like celery will stick out. The green onions I had in them wilted very quickly, so I've been too afraid to use them on lettuce. Still, as a family who eats a lot of produce, it is nice to use 2 plastic produce bags a week instead of 10. I'd definitely recommend them.

This is the second set of bags I bought from reuseit recently. (One is misplaced.) I also bought a set from our local Container Store. It's wonderful to cut back even further on my plastic bags needs. But I would only buy these if they're on sale. When you add reuseit's shipping cost, the sale price is just below the in-store price for the same item.

This set was purchased for my daughter as a gift. Here is what she said about them: Kept my broccoli fresh in the fridge for over a week. They are made of a tight mesh, which keeps little food pieces from getting all over. They fold up to a small size that is easy to keep in a purse. The drawstring closure is quick and simple.

The mesh on these bags is fine enough that I can use them for bulk grain, even quinoa. When I do thins, I have to be careful to secure the top. I appreciate having the tare weight on a tag in each bag.



I am not as wild about the stuff sack as a container for the other bags. Using the drawstring to close the bag scrunches up the bags inside, so the whole package becomes bulkier. I would prefer either a zipper or a flip over flap like some of the Baggu bags come in. I am using the stuff sack, just not to hold the produce bags.

The green mesh bags are attractive and functional as a substitute for the plastic produce bags supplied by the grocery store, however, the color slightly impairs easily seeing the contents. In the future I will stick to white mesh bags.

I really like reusable produce bags, I find them much more useful than the flimsy plastic ones that break so easily. I like the fresh green color and the feel of the mesh fabric. I especially like the little stuff sack that comes with the set to keep them all together. My only complaint would be that they are just a bit small. I would prefer for them to be about 4 inches longer. My other set is "flip and tumble" and they hold quite a bit more than these.
