The reuseit Recycled PET Mesh Workhorse is an updated version of the customer-favorite reuseit Workhorse Original. It's made from recycled-PET nylon mesh that is incredibly strong, super-lightweight and stylish. Weighs less than 1.5 ounces yet can hold over 25 pounds.
Each ultra-compact bag opens into a heavy-duty, water- and mildew-resistant tote that is a roomy 19" x 16" x 6." In addition to using it as a shopping bag, its quick-dry, breathable fabric is perfect for outdoor activities (e.g. beach bag). This shopping bag has a truly innovative feature - it folds into its own mini-pouch attached inside the bag. Once stuffed into its pouch, it measures a mere 3.6" x 3.6," easily fitting into the palm of your hand. It's small enough to stash in a purse or pocket, so you will always have one handy. It's impossible to lose the storage pouch, since it's attached to the bag.
Compact and durable, our reuseit Recycled PET Stuff Sack was designed to make remembering your reusable shopping bags easy. Its bucket shape leaves room for five or more ultra-compact shopping bags or string bags. Barrel lock keeps contents secure. Made from safe, recycled plastics, it makes a great snack bag.

EcoCircle is a closed-loop recycling system for polyester products, producing a recycled polyester fiber with the same strength and durability as new fiber. Unlike virgin nylon, it doesn't require petroleum to produce, so this cradle-to-cradle system reduces oil consumption as well as trash production. Unlike cheaper versions of recycled PET, our Next-Generation Recycled PET fabric, blended with nylon, is as beautiful and strong as it is sustainable. In the U.S. alone, over 45 billion plastic containers ended up in landfills in 2006.

These are very lightweight and pack down small, so I can keep them in my purse or glove compartment. The bright pink color may not be for everybody, but it's easy to find in the bottom of my purse! I also like that they pack down into themselves, so there's no separate stuff sack to keep track of. They hold a good amount, as much as the standard plastic bag. By Heidi E

I love these bags so much! They fold up and are easily carried in my purse, so I never forget them when I go grocery shopping. They look small, but they hold so much! I have four of these little beauties, and I can't imagine needing any more than that. The check-out clerks at the grocery store are also super impressed with their compactness and durability. I own several fabric and one mesh Workhorse bag, so when I found the shopping set on sale, I had to have one. The sky blue color gets raves from cashiers, and the see-through design means I can bag bargains at garage sales without being suspected of shoplifting. They wash easily and dry fast. Like their fabric cousins, they will hold three two-liter bottles with no problem, since I shop for other people. Best of all, the stuff sack will hold not only the bags in the set, but all of my other Workhorses and produce bags.Drawback: they snag, not a problem for most people but I
have to deal with holly bushes as part of inherited
landscaping. I would love to see the stash bag transferred from the inside to the outside; I tend to use the bags wrong-side out if I'm pressed for time. I recommend any style of Workhorse: they're tough, cute, and take up little space.

These bags are really good. They can hold up to 25 lbs and they fit a LOT in each one. The only improvement I would make is to somehow have the handles seal together with a little strap or something b/c they fall open in the car when they are full.
