Care Instructions

I love these sandwich bags. They are solidly made, double-lined, wash and wear wonderfully and look great. My husband and son don't feel silly using these as they have a bit more of a 'masculine look' (the brown and black bags). Perfect size: can hold regular bread or baguette sandwiches.

I like this bag, but I like the lunchskins bag, that I bought at the same time as this bag, better because of the placement of the velcro closure. It is a beg that will fit a whole sandwich, and I am finding that I use the snack sized bags more and use the stainless containers for sandwiches, instead.

I've had these for about 2 years now and use them everyday for work. I can usually fit two sandwiches into one bag and love how easy they are to clean. I bought three of them so I rotate which one I use every other day. For small messes like crumbs, I just rinse them out and let them dry, but for larger messes like peanut butter or condiments, I'll scrub them out with some soap and water. At the end of the week I just throw them all into the washer. They're also dryer safe, so I just toss them in with the rest of my laundry. My favorite things about them is the plain color and velcro strap, making it where I can just throw my sandwich(es) in, and because it's made out of nylon, it's water resistant (not proof), so you don't have to worry too much about leakage.

I've tried 3 different kinds of bags for my kids, and this one is, by far, the easiest to use, maintain, and it looks good. Wash and dry (by hand) is a snap...it dries in a matter of hours. I think you can put in the washing machine, or dishwasher, but I would recommend air-drying.

I have been using these for over 2 weeks and they are fantastic. So easy for dry snacks, just shake them out and no crumbs left behind. The bags are very durable and will last a long time. So glad I don't need plastic bags for snacks anymore.

These bags work pretty well for take away lunches. They wash very easily and can handle moisture well. The only drawback is that they are not as flexible in folding as the volume increases or decreases as the thinner reusies bags.

These bags are THE best! Not only are they good for the kid's lunch boxes, but they're a great size to put snacks and all kinds of other things in them to transport around. The material is so durable and easily washable. I highly recommend them - buy a couple at a time, which will make them a little cheaper - I just keep buying more and more.

For sandwiches, I prefer the wrap-n-mats we own. I still find plenty of uses for this bag (slices of quick bread, pretzels for two, etc). Sometimes it can even be nice to put in apple in it, to protect it from getting dirty in a bag or car.

I bought this to use instead of plastic baggies in my child's daily lunch. It works fine, and looks nice too. The only drawback is, I don't want to get peanut butter and jelly on the inside of the nice nylon sandwich bag. I don't know if it's washable. So, I wrap the sandwich in a paper towel before putting it in the sandwich bag. That works for me.

I agree that this bag is larger than your average sandwich, however, if you use rye bread or other gourmet bread from time to time, this bag will accommodate those larger or different shaped breads. Even with regular bread, there was no problem with the sandwich sliding around. It is very easy to clean, and dries quickly. I also have the smaller size and find that it works beautifully for all types of snacks.

I love the bags, my only problem is the sandwich bag is kinda big for my sandwiches so they slide around . The food falls out of the sandwich because the bag isn't snug enough.

I had been using reusable plastic containers as opposed to baggies for my kids lunches to reduce the use of disposable bags for some time. I bought 1 sandwich bag & 1 snack bag to try out. After using them for a couple weeks I ordered 3 more snack bags and 1 more sandwich bag. They usually take a sandwich, a fuit and a "treat" of some kind so, one sandwich bag & 2 snack bags each works out great. The sandwich bag fits a sandwich made of basic sized bread with plenty of room. I make their lunches the night before and they have never complained of stale bread. The snack size is perfect for a large handful of pretzels, grapes etc. I wouldn't use it for really wet fuit like watermelon as it's not a tight seal. They are lighter to carry than reusable containers (their backpacks are heavy enough) and I feel great that I'm not using plastic baggies. They are easy enough to turn inside out and wipe clean.

I like these sandwich bags. They are sturdy. No fear of tearing the bag when shoving in an overly full sandwich. Or crushing the sandwich! They are large and accommodate large slices of bread for those who enjoy a large, full sandwich or two smaller sandwiches. They are easy to wash out and as of yet, have not stained. Make sure they are dried thoroughly before storing away. The velcro strip that closes the bag is long enough to adjust for more than one sandwich. They kept my sandwiches fresh for 8 hrs. They come in a variety of colors to easily tell one persons sandwich from the others. I haven't tried to fit a wrap in one yet, but they are large enough to fit a small wrap or cut a large one in half and slide the halves in beside each other.

It's a nice bag, easy to clean, with beautiful colors, but the sandwich size is too large to be useful for anything I would want to eat at lunch. It is much larger than a traditional plastic sandwich bag. The snack size of this style is a little too small for my sandwiches (but great for other things; great product). The WasteNot sandwich bag (also a great product) was right about the size I'd hoped this would be.

I bought this for my son's lunch box. It's way to big for his sandwiches. Maybe if you had a big sandwich with lots of lettuce and tomato it would work, but the his PB&J just slides around and gets smashed. I also bought the snack size and we use that for his sandwich. This is a terrific product and I'm so glad I don't have to use zip locs any more!

I really like these bags for all 3 boys' (4 including my husband!) lunches. Even if I store smaller items in it, the sandwich size bag folds down to almost-snack size and still stays shut. I always turn them inside out, sponge clean, and put them on the windowsill where the sun can dry them. If they ever get extra dirty, I wash in the front loader washing machine on "hand wash cycle" then dry as above. I also appreciate the great customer service I received when I accidentally messed up on my original order....it was fixed right away!

I've got some smaller snack bags similar to these (different company) and use them alternatively. These tend to be too big for what I'm packing up for my kids (ages 2 and 4) since they eat such small portions, and I generally end up using them myself. These are all nylon, which is easy to clean inside and out by hand washing, although I can still throw them in the washing machine if/when they need it (I air dry them).

Have been lunch wrapper free for 2 months now with 3 children! Use these bags varying sizes for everything and anything. Homemade muesli bars, beans, carrots, sandwiches, nuts. The list can go on. They keep everything fresh and all you need to do is turn them inside out, give them a wipe down and they are ready for use again. Friends were skeptical that the children would loose them. Not one yet and they all return in their Built Gourmet getaway lunch bags. Love it!
