Care Instructions
Wash before use. Clean with warm water and mild detergent. Do not place in microwave. Do not over-fill container; it is designed to be filled up to just below lid base. Screw on lid completely before use or transport. Do not use bleach or chlorine products to clean.

Tips

If interior becomes stained, use a mixture of baking soda and water to clean. Let stand one hour and rinse with warm water. Use a bottle brush if necessary.
To minimize bacterial growth, do not use food jar with milk products or baby food.
To prevent pressure build up that can ruin the seal on your food jar, wash within 24 hrs of use.

2.0 Would not recommend.

The opening of this jar is too small to put the food in without spilling all over the counter. It is also small for hand-washing. I could not reach all the way to the bottom. Dishwasher is not recommended by the manufacturer. I regret not sticking with Thermos containers which have bigger openings and can be washed in a dishwasher. The only feature that is better on this jar is that the cover has an opening like a handle, so it easier for kids to open the jar. My seven-year-old daughter confirmed that. The food stays warm at least for 4 hours. I have not tried it for longer yet.

I called manufacturer and got more info on product... it keeps food hot/cold for up to 6 hours. The lid is PVC and Phthalate free as well. They were unsure if a 6 year old dropping it would dent the bottom or not, which seems to be the only possible draw back in my opinion. The lid has a handle in it which is not clearly seen from picture, she described similar to the lid of the camalbak better bottle lid handle.
