The 14 oz Libre Loose Leaf Double Walled Bottle is perfect for home brewed tea on-the-go. The extra insulation helps keep beverages at the ideal temperature, and the roomy bottle interior gives tea plenty of room to steep in hot water. Ideal for hot and cold drinks, the wide mouth accommodates ice cubes and makes clean-up easy. The Libre Large tea glass has a durable polycarbonate exterior to withstand daily use and a naturally BPA-free glass interior to provide fresh-tasting beverages - just like a regular drinking glass.
The innovative design of this bottle allows you to brew hot tea or to steep herbs in your water two different ways. One method is to remove lid and tea filter, and add 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf tea into glass. Replace the filter, add hot water and let tea steep 3-5 minutes without lid. Sip your tea from your tea glass and add lid for 'on the go,' or pour into tea cup at home.
Another method to enjoy tea with limited steep times is to remove lid and filter, and carefully add hot water to the glass. After waiting 2-3 minutes to avoid steam pressure build-up, twist the filter on securely, and add 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf tea on top of filter. Twist off lid and filter together and drink tea from your tea glass. Remember to re-steep high-quality teas several times in order to create less waste while you save money!
• Reusable glass bottle with tea filter and double walled insulation lets you enjoy hot or cold steeped beverages on the go • Made from natural materials like glass, stainless steel and bamboo - promising no leaching into your beverages • Eliminates need for disposables like tea bags and throw away plastic and paper cups

Tips • The lid will fit directly into the tea glass if you choose to omit the filter connector after steeping. Or, use it with just the lid for any of your favorite beverages. • If you experience leaking, check to ensure that rubber seals are in place in both the filter connector and the lid. Also, ensure that there are no tea leaves on the threads where the pieces twist together and that these surfaces are dry - tea bits and water bubbles can compromise the seal.
Comments about Product:Libre tea is great. The other brands with the double pane glass thermoses come with a strainer you have to lift out which I've had fly off trying to pry them off and sometimes the leaves would all fall in the tea and I have even bent the strainer trying to get it out so it doesnt fit anymore. So check the specs on your tea thermoses when it comes to the strainer mechanisms.
Comments about Product:I LOVE my Libretea! Mine didn't smell at all like the other review had mentioned and I"m very sensitive to smells and probably would have sent mine back if it had one. The libretea does not leak but you have to really make an effort to line it up so it screws on correctly. It gets a bit hot when you have to squeeze off the strainer part but I just use a paper towel or dish towel. I pour the hot water from a regular pot so it gets messy and I noticed that the tea goes in easier if you tilt the tea vessel, like pouring beer I guess. lol. Mine stays warm for about 3 or 4 hours, it's just so nice to be able to tote this around and not worry about it shattering in your bag. I"ve brought it to yoga class often and it's toppled over and nothing happened. I do wish there was a sippy opening option, but ONLY as an option that you can slide open if desired because I prefer sipping on the glass part and wish the lip of the glass was a bit longer but aside from the little things it's a great product. Before this, I've had 3 ecovessels which are double plane glass and they all shattered within one week of use. The bottom just comes completely off and sometimes you don't hear or realize it, it's paper thin glass but I saw another company make a similar double glass product and it looks like they are finally using thicker glass.
Comments about Product:The first few times I used the bottle it smelled something terrible, and I just don't know why. Anyway, enough elbow grease and dish soap will cure that. Once that was settled the water bottle worked quite well, I used it for coffee and tea pretty frequently and without issue. I forgot sometimes since it was glass that it could be hot, which lead to a few burns. Eventually you'll remember and it'll be fine.
The issue for me is durability. It took two weeks for this bottle to shatter into a million shards. The construction isn't that solid, so now I am moving on to a new bottle. A drop of about 2-3 feet on a rug mind you caused this. I know it is glass and the better thing to do is just not drop it, but I've seen silicone-encased glass before that takes shocks fairly well.
If you need something with any degree of durability, this is NOT the bottle for you. If you are super-careful about where and how you use your bottle, this might be a good solution.
Comments about Product:I received this item last week, after some super fast shipping. When I got it, I literally said "already!?". I put fruit in mine. Cucumbers. Pineapple. Strawberries. Looks and tastes delish! I highly recommend this bottle to everyone.
Comments about Product:This is a flask that was crying out to be invented.
When I travelled round China in 1983 every Chinese person had a jamjar of tea. It started the day hot, and it was sipped from all day long, and replenished with boiling water through the day. Free boiling water seemed to be a basic human right, and quite right too.
This flask is the Chinese jamjar reinvented for this century. The tea stays hot, and the leaves stay in the flask, so no tea leaves to spit back into the jar.
One small improvement would be to make the lid completely flat and not convex, so that the flask can be upturned on a table to let the leaves trapped in the lid infuse.
Transparently a great product.
I was pleasantly surprised at its quick shipping time to the UK.
Comments about Product:I have a couple of loose leaf tea travel mugs. This one is the easiest to use, you don't have to pull out a little wire to remove the tea leaves, you just take the cap off and you can drink. It's sturdy and keeps my tea hot. It is easy to clean out and was cheaper than the other double wall travel tea mugs I have bought.
Comments about Product:Bought husband one for work. Now he can wander around the office without spilling. Would have been perfect on Ship when he was in the Navy. Sturdy, solid, awesome looking product as well!
