I ordered 2. One was lighter than the other. I held them up to the light & it was easy to see that the lighter one had less "stuff" in it. I put them both in the freezer. A few days later I took them out. The one that was emptier, the "stuff" had leaked out. The fuller one had frozen with a bump sticking out of one side.

Not well made!

1.0 Poor quality of plastic case?

These were the first "non-toxic" ice packs I've purchased, and expected what you get generically elsewhere: a plastic case with gel inside that freezes & is useful in keeping food cold in a lunchbag. But in the 3-pack I got, 1 quickly developed a stretched bump extending beyond the plastic case shape whenever it froze, and a 2nd pack developed the same problem within about a month.



The stretched bumps may be weak plastic or too much gel filling, but whatever the cause, the packs seem more likely to have their toxicity tested as they look like they'll break open. I have tossed them and gone back to store-bought ice packs.



An initial email to ReUseIt customer service was responded to within a couple of days; a follow up email when the 2nd pack failed was never answered. Not the best experience.

These packs are a good size for small cooler bags. They work well and stay frozen a long time. They don't take up too much room in the bag, leaving room for more food.

1.0 Flimsy - broke after just one week

Unfortunately this reusable ice pack proved to be more of a throwaway than anything else. After just two freeze/thaws, I noticed a split in the plastic. Although it only sat in a soft, neoprene lunch bag, there must have been a weak spot in the plastic because it cracked and began to leak. Sure, it was inexpensive, but I still expected it to be reusable. Bummer.
