The Cryopak Ice/Heat Pack freezes fast and stays cold, helping keep your waste-free lunch cold from the time you make it to the time you're ready to eat. The flexible exterior fits around food or beverages in most lunch boxes or coolers - keeping salads, fruits or drinks cold.
The Cryopak Ice/Heat Pack also heats well to sooth aches and pains. As a hot pack, Cryopak's super-absorbent polymer ensures that it heats quickly and evenly. Just boil water and submerge for four minutes. If no boiling water is available, submerge in water and microwave according to the heating instructions on the pack. Replaces disposable heat packs and helps you cut down on ziplock bags, too.

3.0 Not appropriate for youngsters lunches

I am thrilled with most of the items I received from reuseit (lunchbags are AMAZING) but these ice(heat) packs are simply not durable enough for use by elementry age kids. Holes in 5 out of 6 packs with three weeks of use. They are a great size and keep wonderfully cold and may be OK for other applications. They did not burst open but the holes make them trash and not worth the low price. I want to love them... maybe the manufacturer can offer some tougher materials in the future. By Robin M

This product is great for throwing a couple in my husband's lunch pail. It stays frozen a long time and keeps his food at the right temperature until he's ready to eat it. We'll be ordering a few more to use in the cooler we use to transport refrigerated/frozen groceries from the store during the hot summer months. By Carmela C

3.0 Ice packs are just okay

I bought about 4 of these last year and only two remain. I found that with my kids handling, these ice packs did not last long. Often these ice packs would fall out of our freezer onto our tile floor. Once that happened the ice pack would get a hole in it and leak once it started thawing. My two year old also squeezed one too hard and created a hole in it as well. She was using it for an injury and just couldn't resist playing with it when it thawed. I liked these ice packs, but they just haven't held up that well. By Emilie L
