Love them! We use the different colors for different tasks. I cut the white ones up (They're pretty big) to replace our paper towels/napkins. We've been using them for a few months with no problems.
I originally purchased these to clean up after our kitty accidents. The towels are big, so we cut them in quarters for use. Whatever yuk the cat makes, pick it up,use the same (or another) to spot clean, then toss in the wash! Hang it on the line to dry and back into the pile for the next time.
Also use these at work to replace paper towels- no lint, no scratch and much more absorbent.
I used these on my Swiffer mops for dry and wet. They definitely work better as dry mops, but I use them to clean everything. They do shrink after you wash them, but they are huge to begin with. I have washed and dried mine several times and they pretty much only shrink after the first or second wash and that is it.
I also use these as a backpacking towel on thru hikes. They work great, are very lightweight, and are much more economical than buying the expensive materials marketed for that purpose.
I already use rags & old cut up towels as an alternative to a paper towel which I think work well with cleaning up spills, cleaning the kitchen counters etc, but the Father-in-Law whom lives with me would say otherwise. He hates using my rags and was still using paper towels. I came across these and decide to give them a try and was pleasantly surprised. These EcoTowls feel just like a thick paper towel !! I love how they feel when they are dry and when they are wet & They absorb better than a paper ! an extra Plus ! They are awesomely huge, but I cut some of them into 4s and left others the larger size which I like. They DO shrink after you wash them but it doesn't bother me since they were already a nice size to begin with. I DO NOT put them in the dyer, they may shrink even more, but its no problem to take pick them out of the washer to lay them flat to dry. The Father-in-Law wont admit that he likes them now, but I have caught him using them
