Great product in colors my kid loves. He was a hit in his class when other children realized that his lunch is fresh and cool as it was when he brought it to school.

Good quality, dish washer safe and the best thing is that ice pack is removable.

This Lunch POD is the right shape and size for sandwiches, though it can carry other things as well. It is deep enough to hold a thick adult size sandwich! It is well made and comes in pretty colors!

4.0 Does nice job chilling smaller portions

These plastic containers with snap-in ice packs do a pretty nice job of keeping fruit and cheeses, etc. cold without everything else in my son's lunchbox being chilled. The only difficulty we have with these and their other containers with snap-in cold packs is that they're pretty hard to wrench out of the lids. Hopefully the lids' plastic tab that holds in the pack won't break. Have had for about 6 weeks without trouble. But a nice solution, espec. if only certain items packed do best chilled.

Well, I have to tell you we miss this container, but, unfortunately my daughter dropped hers at lunch and it cracked beyond repair, so we dont have one now. I may purchase another later on but cant justify the costs right now. Loved it otherwise fit a sandwich perfectly. But wasnt up to a childs typical oops!!!

I already wrote a review of these but here's the update: the little clips that hold the icepacks in place eventually started breaking off, then the top split on one, and another one really got hammered somehow and chipped all along one side. HOWEVER, I ordered more! Because I abuse these things, putting them in the dishwasher which I'm sure dries out the plastic; they are still the handiest size for sandwiches etc., and I love having the icepack inside the box not getting everything in the lunch bag wet.

So far very happy with this product. Its the right size for a good size sandwich. We use it for a variety of items and love the freezer pack stored in the lid. My daughter thinks its way cool and I know its practical. We started with reuseit long ago with the laptop lunch box and have bought several products from this site. I like that they carry BPA free products, thats why I shop here often. Things are a bit pricy but I do get lots of use out of the items I have purchased. I do utilize the review pages, so Im here to add my input. As with everything, this unfortunately is made In China, even if its a worthy company. I try so hard to buy USA, but, the free trade aggreement worked against that idea. Oh well, do the best we can.

Keeps the food cold for hours. Made my lunch around 7 am, ate at noon and the food was still cold :) Keeping the food cold not only makes the food taste better, but it means less bacterias. Fast shipping to Norway!

5.0 Much better than Wonder Bread Boxes!

I started off with the cheap wonder bread boxes from the supermarket: too small and shallow for a decent sandwich. Then I got the wrap-n-mat sets which are fantastic; lasted for ages. But they don't protect the sandwiches from being squashed in the bag, if you have a soft-sided one like my kids do (bazura bags medium). So I got these, and I'm totally in love. Not only are they big enough for a proper sandwich (or salad or cut-up piece of fruit), but the included icepack means you don't have to add another bit of bulk to the lunchbox. They also go in the dishwasher. They're awesome; get some immediately!

Like the concept, but the container is a little bit small. Plus, I don't like the fact that food touches the ice pack. My own pet peeve, but there seems to be something unhygienic about it, esp if the ice pack leaks.

I dont think you can really get any better then these. They are nice and thick. They hold a ton. I can fit 2 sandwitches w/o the ice pod in and still have room for something else. The icepod keeps things perfectly cold for a long time. They are a breeze to clean as well and are dishwasher safe! What a value and great purchase!

I have a Gel-Kool also, but this is bigger and perfect for sandwiches. Love how nicely the icepack works with the lid, but can be removed and used in other situations.

I received this from a friend and absolutely love it! It can hold so much more than a sandwich! I've packed entire lunches in it. The built-in (yet removable) ice pack is wonderful! It is thick enough that it stays cold for longer than you would expect. The product is well-constructed and has become one of my favorite boxes for packing.
