Highlights
Looking for an eco-friendly and reusable alternative to plastic wrap? The Norpro Sili-Stretch Bowl Cover is just the solution for any cook looking to cut down on waste. Made of refrigerator-, freezer- and microwave-safe FDA-approved silicone, these sheets cling to stainless steel, porcelain, stoneware, plastic and glass and extend your food life by sealing in freshness. Approved temperature range is -40°F to 350°F, so you can even use these durable silicone sheets for most oven-baked meals, snacks and delicious desserts!

Since silicone doesn't degrade easily or lose its stretch, you can reuse Norpro's innovative product over and over again—making it the perfect sustainable alternative to disposable plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Plastic wraps are not only difficult to recycle, due to the fact that most recycling organizations do not accept the material, but have also been shown to leach chemicals such as plasticizers into hot foods. Norpro makes the sustainable switch simple and affordable for any reusables lover looking to green his or her kitchen. Norpro's set of 2 includes a 10" x 10" sheet, as well as a smaller 6" x 6" sheet, both of which will cling to a wide variety of bowls and reusable food containers.

• Reusable silicone sheets are an eco-friendly alternative to wasteful plastic wrap
• Stretchy and clings to a wide variety of materials
• Approved for use in -40°F to 350°F temperatures
• Made of durable, long-lasting, easy to clean and food-grade silicone

Comments about Product:

I love these things. Have used them primarily to cover leftovers in the fridge. I boil them to clean them after each use. We have 2 sets and have eliminated seran wrap from our lives. Just wish they were a little bit less expensive.

4.0 3 months of use, so far, so good

Comments about Product:

I've been using this on various bowls that don't have lids, or on cut cucumbers and bell peppers and melons in the fridge. So far, so good. They are easy to hand wash and have been in the dishwasher a couple of times. The kids love playing with them, so they get thrown and stretched. I almost want more of them to use on things besides food, such as a non-skid place in the car to keep my phone steady, or on the divider between my enamel sinks to keep dishes from banging and breaking.

3.0 Not quite there yet...

Comments about Product:

Ordered two sets sili-stretch. One of the smaller sizes tore within a couple of uses of putting it across top of medium sized mixing bowl. Reuseit was great about replacing it. (Customer Service is awesome!) Then about a week later, the larger size tore while I was trying to place it over an 9x13 glass casserole. I didn't ask for replacement. I'll just keep using what I have as long as possible, but won't reorder.Like the idea and concept, but the materials aren't quite sturdy enough to stretch the way they need to to replace plastic wrap.

2.0 Did not last

Comments about Product:

My smaller bowl cover ripped after only about 2 weeks of use. I was able to use it only a few times before this happened. Before this one ripped the covers worked very well, although they are a little harder to stretch than described. "Stretching to twice it's size" may be possible but it is difficult to pull off. The covers are very sticky and stick to themselves, which is sometimes hard to undo (but not nearly as hard as plastic wrap). The only reason this doesn't get one star is because the other one is still in working condition. At this point, I cannot recommend this product.

Comments about Product:

These disentegrated the first time I used them. Not knowing this I bought them for my daughters and the same thing happened with theirs. I'm not sure what happened--we didn't even subject them to heat or cold. It was very disappointing.

1.0 Didn't hold up

Comments about Product:

Bought these covers to be eco-friendly. Liked the idea of reusing them. I even bought several as gifts. However, after two or three uses both sizes of covers ripped and were useless. Once they ripped, they wouldn't adhere to a dish. I'm very disappointed.

Comments about Product:

I found the covers EXCELLENT when being used for the first time on DRY food containers. HOWEVER, once you remove the bowl from the fridge and condensation forms on the outside of the bolw or container the cover are nearly impossible to sealbecause of the moisture on the containerPressing on the cover to relsease the air on your initial use (a la Tupperware) is miraculous in getting them to work properly. Wiping the outside of the refridgerated bowl will help in resealing, but this doesn't aways work.Would rate them FAIR to GOOD

2.0 Very disappointed

Comments about Product:

After only two or three uses, these covers ripped and can't be used again. I purchased several sets as gifts trying to be eco-friendly, but these covers are poorly made.

Comments about Product:

I was so excited to get the sili stretch sheets--in fact I bought them for five family members as well. I used mine one time each and they tore; In fact the larger sheet disintegrated completely the first time I used it. I read all the instructions and followed them carefully. I'm not sure what happened. I didn't realize I could share photos and did not keep them. I'm hoping my family has a better experience.

I bought three sets for Christmas presents and they don't cling to anything. I tried stainless steel and ceramic, tried both sides of the sheets. Totally worthless.

5.0 Great alternative to plastic wrap, easy to wash

Comments about Product:

These are really stretchy and sticky. I've used them for a couple weeks now on various sized bowls and cut vegetables (Cucumbers/bell peppers) with great results. They stick right on and stay right where you want them to. I hand wash them, squeeze and squish them with a little dishsoap under running hot water till they are clean, then drape them on the drying rack and pop them back in the drawer till I need them again.

1.0 3 holes after 1 use

Comments about Product:

I got exactly 1 use out of it on a salad bowl. The next time I put it on there were 3 rapidly growing holes in it. Very disappointing.

1.0 Don't work

Comments about Product:

This item does not work. I cannot get it to stick to the rim or sides of any of my dishes. I've tried round and square, glass and stainless steel. The silicone mats just sit on top of the container, but are not air tight. I tried stretching them and pressing the sides and/or corners to my containers but the mats just popped up again. A useless waste of money and so sad it will go into a landfill.
