Why It Gets Our Seal of Approval
  • Keeps half an onion (or chopped/sliced onions) fresh longer
  • Helps replace plastic baggies for storing leftover onions, tomatoes and other produce
  • Soft-grip, air-tight lid
  • BPA-free, also free of phthalates and lead
  • Stainless steel lid insert eliminates onion odors
  • Dishwasher safe

Progressive International's onion keeper is great for the times you're cooking and need some fresh onion, but not an entire onion. Just store the unused portion in the onion keeper, and the tight-sealing lid will keep it fresher longer than other storage methods. Plus, a stainless steel insert in the lid helps keep odors at bay, so you can put the onion in your fridge without worry.

The container has enough room for half an onion or a large portion of chopped onions. It can also be used to store the remainder of other fruits and vegetables like tomatoes or lemons. Progressive International's onion keeper is a great way to cut back on food waste. And if you normally keep your unused produce, it's a reusable alternative to disposable plastic baggies.

5.0 Nice

Comments about Product:

These are great for onions and other round food. Since I cook for two, we often don't use a whole monster red onion everyday. We'd have to use a huge glasslock container, because the onions were too big to fit in the smaller sizes. Since these containers are round, it's a perfect fit!

4.0 Storage

Comments about Product:

Used once so far not sure if it really keeps the smell out but it was a great size for storing half or less of an onion
