What is the program and how does it work?

The ReusableBags.com affiliate program enables participating websites to earn commission on sales referred from links on their website. Our program is run on the ShareASale network. After you become a ReusableBags.com affiliate, we provide you with links for your pages to our products and when a visitor you've referred to us makes a purchase, you earn commission. At the end of the month if you have reached the minimum payout level, we send you a check for a percentage of the sales you referred to our site.

What does it cost to join and are there any fees?

It costs nothing to join and there are absolutely NO FEES in our Affiliate Program. You are not obligated to purchase any products and there will not be any fees added after you join. We also offer many affiliate tools such as a product data feed, a product page maker, and others that are completely free for you to utilize.

Is my website eligible for the affiliate program?

We accept almost all types of websites. We do not accept any sites which:

  • Advocate or promote sexually explicit material.
  • Advocate or promote violence.
  • Advocate or promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
  • Advocate or promote illegal activities.
  • Violate intellectual property rights.

We welcome all applications but reserve the right to refuse membership or revoke a membership at any time.

I live outside the United States. Can I become an affiliate?

No. The affiliate program will initially only be available for US based affiliates. However, if you are interested, please contact us and we'll add your name to our list of potential international affiliates.

When I become an affiliate, do I receive any discounts on your products?

No. However, we recommend you purchase your orders through your links so you can earn commission on the sales.

What type of commissions do you offer?

Earn an aggressive

5% commission of sales

made through our affiliate program and help offer consumers smart, eco-friendly alternatives to a marketplace filled with junky, throwaway products. Make money and feel good about helping the environment.

When do I earn commissions?

After you become a ReusableBags.com affiliate, we provide you with links for your pages to our products and when a visitor you've referred to us makes a purchase, you earn commission. At the end of the month if you have reached the minimum payout level, we send you a check for a percentage of the sales you referred to our site. Commissions on the sale are paid on the amount of products only, NOT on shipping or taxes.

If someone doesn't purchase on their first visit, do you offer return days?

Yes, we provide 30 return days for a referred customer to make a purchase. Our 30 day tracking cookie means you get credit for ANY sale made by a visitor that you refer to ReusableBags.com for 30 days after their initial visit as long as the visitor leaves the cookie on their browser.

How do I get paid?

If you have reached your minimum payout level of $50, ShareASale will send you a check in US dollars for the percentage of sales you referred to our website. Checks are sent out approximately 20 days following the end of the month.

How much can I earn?

Unlimited! The more traffic you drive to our site the more money you make. We have no cap on commissions.

How do I convert traffic from my website to sales at ReusableBags.com?

Use our banners and other creative tools to try to attract your existing site visitors to click-thru to ReusableBags.com. Also, search engine optimization of your web site(s) as well as pay-per-click marketing can also drive visitors to ReusableBags.com. We offer content-rich descriptions on all of our products to assist with search engine spidering.

How do you track commissions, sales and traffic?

ShareASale keeps track of all the visitors that you send to our site using a unique identifier embedded in your links. It then reports on any and all sales that were a result of that traffic.

Can I view how much I've sold and earned?

Yes. You can log into ShareASale at any time to view real-time statistics on the results of your campaigns promoting ReusableBags.com. ShareASale is one of the few places that offer instant feedback reports on sales, earnings and activity for affiliate campaigns.

What is the average order size?

Average order size is around $50 with many sales exceeding $200.

Do I earn commission if someone clicks a product on my site & buys a different product?

Yes. You earn commission on all sales referred from your site regardless of the specific products purchased.

How do product returns affect my commissions?

If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for commission earned on the order in question.

How do I create links?

We offer several ways for you to link to ReusableBags.com. You will use the ShareASale interface to create links using banners and other types of creatives. You must always make sure your appropriate ShareASale tracking ID is in place so that they can accurately track and report the traffic you drive to ReusableBags.com. Is there a certain number of links I am obligated to place on my website? No. You may use as few or as many links as you like. We encourage you to try a variety of links to learn which are most effective for increasing your click-throughs and commission earnings. ShareASale provides detailed reporting to help you pinpoint which links are performing best.

Are the images & text on ReusableBags.com copyrighted?

Yes, all ReusableBags.com SHOP images & text are copyrighted. By becoming an affiliate we allow you to display them on your site for the purpose of sales on ReusableBags.com. You will not be breaking any laws as long as the images / text are used as links to their respective products and you mention that you are "In Association with ReusableBags.com" We also welcome you to use any of our informative outside of store content (e.g. FAST FACTS, OUR VISION, TAKE ACTION, NEWSROOM, PHOTO GALLERY tabs). We plan on making this content available to affiliate partners. For now, please email us if you would like to use any of the outside store content.
