The reusable lunch bags are designed to stand up right when filled, fold flat for storage and zip to keep contents securely inside. Made with 100% organic heavy duty canvas, the bags are designed to shrink a bit when washed.

Founder and designer Susanne Pierce Maddux is an accomplished industrial designer and former member of the Apple industrial design team. Susanne holds design and engineering patents and has a background in fine arts including printmaking, glassblowing, pottery and woodworking.
Susanne developed Hero Bags with a holistic approach to design and manufacturing and a desire to connect the consumer to the story behind the product. The goal of Hero Bags is to create products with a sense of whimsy, delight and purpose while using sustainable materials and American fair labor manufacturers.

- Hero Bags also suggest spot cleaning with mild soap or machine washing in cold water.
- The lunch bags are designed to shrink a bit; organic cotton is not treated with chemicals and will shrink when washed for the first time.

We've tried so many kids lunch bags over the years ... there were ones that didn't fit all the lunch items, or the handles were unbalanced once the bag was full and heavy, or the coated cotton got holes after a few months... etc. this is the best lunch bag. perfect handles for a kid to hold. zip top keeps lunch in and easy for kids to manage. roomy enough to fit 3 containers and a drink. but not too big. and machine washable. I hope they make new designs - I'd buy them all. I love that they are cotton and so sturdy they will last forever. By Wendy O
