Design and Functionality
Just screw the capCAP onto your wide mouth bottle to add a narrow-mouth opening. The smaller spout means you won't spill on yourself, especially when drinking while hiking or in a car. The large spout means you can esailly fill the bottle (with lemons, ice, etc.) and easily clean it with a normal brush. With the capCAP, you get the best of both worlds rather than having to choose just one spout with the features most important to you. The colorful, rubberized cap is easy to grip, and a wide, rounded strap allows you to comfortably carry your bottle without cutting into your finger like many other bottle straps. The capCAP is compatible with most 63mm wide-mouth bottles, including Nalgene (1L, OTG and Stainless), CamelBak (.5L, .75L and 1L), Guyot Stainless, Cyclone, Stansport and others. Please note: We have had mixed results using capCAP with wide mouth Klean Kanteen bottles. For this reason, we do not recommend the combination.

I never thought I could LOVE a water bottle cap, but the humangear capCAP has totally changed my feelings! This is the best thing to happen to wide-mouth water bottles since stainless steel. I was looking for a way to drink water in the car without either pouring it down my front or having to chew on annoying bite-valve, and this cap is it. It is well-made, easy to clean, and comfortable to use. The center cap is designed so that it is very easy to open--the perfect size and texture for easy gripping! We love the Humangear cap in a cap! Using an insert in a bottle to keep the ice cubes back was resulted, more than once, in a shower! The new caps make it so much easier to use those big bottles at the gym, while traveling and at work without fear of drips or spills. I have several Nalgene 48 oz wide mouth bottles. I drink my water on my commute to work. The original cap just doesn't work, water all over! I've used this cap for my two wide mouth Nalgene bottles. They never leak and I've also put them in the freezer when I freeze my bottles and they hold up well. They get a bit frozen but with a quick rinse of warm water it unscrews. Awesome item! By BRADLEY S

I love the idea of these caps, but they do leak when used on my Klean Kanteen insulated wide mouth water bottle. The leaking is fine in the summer or for sports practice, but not for the car or if we used anything but water in our bottle. I saw this online at the Humangear website where they also sell the gotoobs. I love the gotoobs for my travels. Looked at the capCap, the idea behind it is fantastic. Like all wide mouth bottles, taking lid to drink can be very messy and not ideal if walking, driving, or just lounging around. I needed something that did not require thought. The capCap does it. I have 2 of these, one a nalgene and the other on my new Guyot Designs Wide-mouth 32 oz Stainless Steel Bottle. I great product that is built to last many years. By Karen G

I bought this to go with my Nalgene 22 oz wide mouth sport bottle. It's a wonderful cap, and I'll be ordering more in the future. It's so nice to be able to get a mouthful of icy water without squeezing the bottle or sucking loudly on the mouthpiece. I bought this cap to go along with my 32oz wide mouth Nalgene bottle and it is wonderful! I have not had any leaking issues at all (I'm used to bottles leaking at least a little bit, but I'd always bought cheap knockoffs) but no leaks. The smaller mouth is PERFECT to drink out of and then I can easily take the larger lid off to use the ice dispenser at work. I HIGHLY recommend this cap to anyone who uses a wide mouth bottle. This cap is shear genius. It works so much better than a splash guard. No splash guard falling into your drink. It makes room for your nose. It's integrated into the cap. And it works with every wide mouth bottle I've tried, including the Camelbak Better Bottle, Camelbak Stainless bottle, Klean Kanteen Wide, and Guyot Standard. This is a great purchase. I own the Camelback bottles and am sick of the straws falling out or losing the mouthpiece. This top is interchangeable with most wide mouth bottles. It has held up quite well in the field. It has never leaked or failed in any way. No noticeable signs of wear, either. The only thing negative that I can think to say about it is that the soft green rubber on the smaller cap is so grippy that it grips dirt really well. I can't get it off, either. But, who cares? This is a piece of camping equipment and this is merely an aesthetic issue. Oh yeah, here is one small annoyance. Sometimes when I want to screw off only the green cap, the grey cap will come off with it. That is simply the result of closing the green lid too tight or not closing the grey lid tight enough. I quickly discovered an easy solution to that problem: put a little extra oomph into tightening the grey lid, but be more gentle when closing the green lid. This causes the grey lid to stay put when I am trying to open the green lid.View All
