Sustainability
Billions of single-use bags, baggies and food containers are consumed each year. When used in place of disposable single-serving containers and throwaway packaging, each Laptop Lunch Kit has the potential to eliminate 1000's of disposables over its lifetime, preserving natural resources, protecting the environment and saving you money in the process. Homemade lunches are not only more nutritious than pre-packaged lunches, but they tend to cost less as well. It has been estimated that a person taking a disposable lunch to school will spend an average of $4.02 per day or $723.60 per school year. A person who packs a waste-free lunch will spend about $2.65 a day or $477.00 per school year. That equates into about $250 in savings per person/year.

About Laptop Lunches
The Laptop Lunch Kit was developed by two mothers (Tammy Pelstring and Amy Hemmert) with a mission of helping families improve lunchtime nutrition and reduce waste. And since they believe that healthy kids come from healthy communities, they donate a portion of profits to schools and environmental organizations.

5.0 Wonderful kit!

Comments about Product:

I've wanted a Laptop Lunch set for years and finally broke down and picked this one out. I love the bag and how it'll carry the box flat and there's plenty of room on top for a small thermos or a couple of cans of soda AND my wallet AND a paperback AND my phone charger with room to spare. I wish this same design bag came in solid colors or other patterns because my son would love one but isn't so thrilled with the idea of taking a flower bag to school.

3.0 Great concept

Comments about Product:

I love the concept. No waste, everything there for kids ot open and see. Hard for the smaller kids to put the lids back on and the main outer box doesn't close correctly if the lids aren't on correctly. Too many things to wash when you have multiple kids. Used for a few months then ended up sitting in the drawer. We use maybe twice every 6 months. I bought one that you just open and have all sections there, no other lids to open. Much better concept, dishwasher nightly and good to go the next day. I have enough dishes already! With all that said the quality of these is still pretty great. They do put a spot on the bottom of containers for name but even a perm. marker washed off after a few days.
