- Top rack dishwasher safe, no abrasive cleaners or scrubbers
- Silicone seal can be removed for cleaning; tap lightly on counter to loosen and remove slowly
- Unlock latches/loosen lid before use in microwave

We have loads of these 6 oz containers for kids' lunches. They are the perfect size for cut-up fruits and veggies, and even my preschooler can open them on his own. Only downside is they have straight sides so don't stack, but the plusses far out weigh the minuses. By Janis M

I am already a fan of Lock & Lock and these containers are just as sturdy, well-made, and handy as the larger pieces I own. One of my favorite uses for this container is to take two hardboiled eggs in it for my lunch. I purchased a dozen of them because they are such a useful size in the kitchen and for lunchboxes. I have a LOT of of L & L boxes I've been using for over 10 years, they are nearly indestructible and are great for dry storage, freezer, and refrigerator. I am always searching for the perfect containers for my children's (6 & 8) lunch boxes. I found these, and love them. They are the smallest square containers that I have found that are leak-proof. I squeeze in half apples, fruits, yogurts, salads, snacks. They are totally secure, easy to open, good to clean. I love the size - portions aren't huge, and don't take up lots of lunch box room.
