- Top rack dishwasher safe, no abrasive cleaners or scrubbers
- Silicone seal can be removed for cleaning; tap lightly on counter to loosen and remove slowly
- Unlock latches/loosen lid before use in microwave

Got these for my sons lunch, he is almost 2 & started daycare. I can separate his food and make it fun for him to eat independently. Only thing is if you put in something with any kind of liquid (orange pieces) if turned on its side in the lunchbox, it will leak. great great product. it doesn't spill even with soup. just note dividers aren't spill proof in that the container won't open but your soup might mix with your rice if you put them in the same box and gets tilted in your bag. the other leak proof containers i have bought from reuseit also work wonderfully.... We've had these about a month and they are working great! I use the biggest one for hubby and the smaller 2 for my 5 year old. She can open and close them easily, and the size is just right. Box good size for lunchbox. Lock-down snaps easy for 3yr olds to manage. Nicely organized storage space, BUT the internal compartments do not seal against the lid, so liquid seeps from one compartment to the next. Only use for dry foodstuffs. By Susan W

My 3- and 5-yr olds take these for lunch. They are easy enough for them to open, but they don't leak. The dividers are not completely sealed off from one-another, so soupy things won't stay put...but I don't usually pack liquid things anyhow.The small container is a little too small to pack everything for a whole lunch...but the medium and large work great.
And the price is outstanding for what you get.

I really like these boxes. I ordered 3 of them for my pre-schooler and kindergartener. I think they are the perfect size for this age group and it's fun to pack 4 different things without them mixing. They are very easy for my 4 year old and 6 year old to open by themselves and the box is very very sturdy. My only complaint is that as it seals well around the edges, there is a small gap at the top between the lid and the top of the four boxes. It would be nice if there was no gap-- I can see that liquidy foods might leak into the other compartments. By Jessica O

I have been using Lock & Lock for quite a few years now. They all have held up extremely well. The only time one has broken is when I dropped it out of the freezer with frozen sauce in it. We use these for school lunches, work lunches, airline travel (along with gotoob for salad dressings and other wet items). They do not leak even in airplane travel. There isn't any misses when attaching the lid. its either on or you can't clamp down the lid anchors. I find these are great for people with arthritis or other hand problems as well. I use larger Lock & Lock for general storage as well, sewing supplies, baking supplies, pet supplies, sending sweet treat to classrooms, home and garage organization etc. I have to say I think they have lasted so long for food use, because I DO NOT put them in the microwave. I have all three of these boxes. My favorite is the large box. It is a perfect one-container way to pack a sandwich and sides. A real plus for eating in the car, by the way! I also use this size for Chef salad. The 2oz Nalgene bottle (sold at this site) fits in the box and holds an ample amount of dressing. I love how versatile all these boxes are. More information needs to be provided in the literature about the plastic used in this product re:safety of use, migration of plastic to contents of container and how long the container is usable before breaking down and migrating to the food.
