Materials BPA-free Eastman Tritan (#7). Our customers have been requesting Tritan bottles for a while, but we wanted to make sure to invest significant time researching Tritan's safety before deciding to carry it. Based on third-party test results released and confidence expressed by other leading organizations and retailers, we believe Tritan is a safe alternative to other plastics for manufacturing bottles and food utensils and containers. We now offer many Tritan products on our site. Check out our Tritan FAQ for more information.
Sustainability Single-use, disposable water bottles and beverage containers create millions of tons of unnecessary waste each year - not to mention the resources required to make all those bottles in the first place. According to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled. Using reusable bottles helps preserve natural resources while saving money in the process.

I bought these for my 18 month and 3 year old sons. They are very durable, have not ever leaked, and easy to clean. They seem to enjoy drinking from them, too.
Tritan seems to finally be the right material for reduced VOCs (chemical leaks from the plastic itself). It really doesn't smell at all inside, even if cap closed for a while.
Design - CON:
The Nalgene 12 oz Kids Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle has a rigid, unprotected spout - no cap or retraction. For certain situations (dirty surroundings) - which kids experience a lot, being, well, kids, this is an inconvenience to not say more.
This is OK but the spout does not fold down so it can be ahrd to fit in a lunch box. Also I wish I had known it required a plastic inset that goes in the lid to keep it from leaking. You have to remove it to be able to drink from it. As you might expect my yr old has already lost the plastic insert so it is no longer leak proof. I would not buy it again because of this.
we purchased these for our grandchildren. They love them. The little hole handle is perfect for there little fingers. very well constructed. MADE IN USA WOW!!!!
my daughter loves this bottle! it doesn't even leak. just don't put the silicone mouth piece in the dishwasher, the detergent taste tends to stick around for a while. yuck!!
I do love these cups. My mom bought some for my kids last year and they are awesome. The only problem we have had is we have had to buy 2 purple ones because they got dropped accidently by my daughter and the bottom fell out both times but my son has a green on and he has dropped his more than a few times and it is hanging tough. I do wish I could find these in a store near me in FL. I just won't buy any more purple ones.
I love these Nalgene bottles. They are especially wonderful to use with milk. All you need to do is rinse it and the bottle doesn't smell like spoiled milk. (Like every other plastic sippy cup does) They don't leak and they're easy to clean. Definitely recommend!
