Materials
Along with HDPE (#2) and LDPE (#4), polypropylene (#5) is a safe, non-leaching, and economical plastic. It’s tough and lightweight, as well as flexible and scratch-resistant. Nalgene bottles made from polypropylene resist UV penetration, which can damage and discolor the plastic. This plastic is dishwasher safe (top rack only) and able to withstand temperatures from 0 C (32 F) to 135 C (275 F).

I expected these little tubes to be more easily squished to dispense a thick liquid. This is not as easy for my child to use in their lunch as anticipated. The idea was to be able to take ketchup/plum sauce etc along. For $1 each, we will use them, but I'll still search out other options.

I have all sizes. Liquids don't leak out of them and they fit easily in a lunch bag. After a couple of weeks the 16 oz developed a crack on the outside - hasn't seemed to have affected use so far so I'm hoping they will be durable. The lid and container are thick and haven't warped with machine dish-washing.



I will end up getting more I think. The 16 oz seems to be the most useful size. The 8 oz is tall and slender - wish it was fatter and shorter with a wider mouth. But overall am pleased with all of them. I have taken dressings to work with the smallest sizes. They're not really stackable for storage. The tops are easy to remove.

I have multiple sizes of nalgene food jars now (8 oz and 16 oz). I use the 8 oz size for milk and the 16 oz size for cereal, so I can take breakfast to work with me. (I just stick it in a lunch bag with a few ice packs to keep it cold and I'm all set).

I do recommend soaking the containers before using them because they come with an odor that disappears after washing. It isn't super offensive, it just does have a smell to it from the plastic.

I use this container mostly for salad dressing when I pack my lunch, but it's the perfect size for many things. The lid screws on so there is never any leakage and it's nice to have the wide opening because it makes it super easy to wash.

I travel for a living and need to bring my food with me for at least 3 t0 4 days. These jars are AWESOME!!! I can now carry my Olive Oil for salad dressing with me and not have to worry about it leaking or dressing going bad since I can't always keep my food cold!!!

Ordered the 2oz jar and bottle. The 2oz jar is great for putting ranch or dip in for my lunch so I can dip my vegetables in easily and directly. The 2oz jar is great for salad dressing when I take a salad for lunch. They have never leaked and are easy to clean.

Perfect size for a weeks worth of salads! The ladies in my office tease me because theyare sooo "cute" something to do with their size. They are the perfect size for not taking up any extra space in my lunch. Thanks for the op to let you know how good of a product I feel these are.

These bottles are great for storing and transporting lunch items, but they are not leakproof, which is what I was looking for. The half and half didn't leak but the coffee flavor syrup did all over everything.

I toss them (I purchased two) in a lunch bag with no worries of breakage or spilling or leaking. I have been using them for salad dressing mostly, including vinaigrettes, but also soy sauce and chopped toppings like onion or cilantro. They wash clean too, no residue, no odors. I have been using them for two months and am thinking of ordering a few more in case of loss or need.

It's hard to find containers small enough for small things - this one is perfect (portion-controlled nuts, trail mix, dips, dried fruit, chocolate). Easy for a 4 year old to open. I bought two and plan on getting at least 4 more - ever so useful.

Sorry, thought I was reviewing stainless steel food containers below...These containers are good too. I used them for travelling with dressing or sauce and they work great. No leaks. dishwasher gets the bottle and lid quite clean. I can't handwash them - openning is too small.

I needed something to send warm lunches to school wiht my school-aged children. I am used to the Foogo 10 oz containers (also easy to use), but these containers are bigger - taller and slightly thinner to be exact. They are easier to pack due to the different shape. You can still get a spoon into them with ease.



The only drawback, in my opinion, is the same drawback with all these containers. You cannot remove the silicone sealing element inside the lid so eventually I expect a mold issue. In the meantime I handwash the container and use the dishwasher to get the lid extra clean.



I have used it about twice a week for over a month and I am very happy so far.

My hubby and I work at a National Park. Sometimes working out in the field all day. I have tried other containers for fruit and wet items but everything leaks! The screw down lid helps keep any liquids from leaking out. and the little sneeze bottle is perfect for salad dressing or other sauces. They are getting banged around and so far have not leaked! My hubby loves em!

My kids aren't into sandwiches so we have to be pretty creative about lunch. And often there are small amounts of food that they want to keep separate until lunchtime. The 2oz jars are just right for salad dressing or dip or seeds or grated cheese or condiments. They are the only reasonably priced reusable very small containers I've found. My preschooler is fine with the lid and hasn't lost one yet. The 2oz bottle is less useful because it's harder to wash and dry.

I like these containers. They are handy and they don't leak. They came in round shapes; I think I'd prefer squares and rectangles as probably more packable. But these are quite useful. The small about 2/3 the size of a soda can; the large is about the size of a small plastic take-out soup container.

I gave these (16oz and 8oz) containers to my family so that we could pack more lunches when we go out. Love them! Great for sending individual salads or family portions of road snacks. They do take up a lot of room in the cupboard because they do not nest, but totally worth it for us.

I threw away all of my Tupperware and ordered six of these nalgene food jars (three 16 oz, two 8 oz and one 2 oz). I love them! The top screws on securely so I never worry about spilling. The 16 oz and 8 oz are great to transport food or snacks to work or hold leftovers in the fridge. I use the 2 oz one for my salad dressing/sauce - it is the perfect size and again I know it will not spill. They are kind of awkward to store because you have to stack them and they take up a lot of room - but so far I have been using them constantly so this is not a problem at all!

I bought the smallest ones for packing things like salad dressing. I was hoping to phase out plastic, but couldn't find anything so small that carries liquids that's not plastic. This is a handy size, but it is very difficult to wash these since the opening is so tiny.

These containers are great. I bought a few. The only issue is with stain...found that out today. My wife made tomatoe soup and stored it in the containers. Yup, they are stained. Looks terrible. She hand washed them and still stained. Will likely use them in the home only. Too bad. I enjoyed packing snacks for work in them.

These rock! My 7 yr-old & husband use them daily in lunches and they hold quite a bit. Easy lids to use too, which helps small hands. Highly recommended. I can get more grapes in one than my son has time to eat at lunch and enough animal crackers for 2 kids car snacking. Haven't used for liquids, but so far the water from grapes/carrots etc hasn't leaked. Going to buy MORE!

I bought the 16 oz because I needed a good container to hold yogurt or to carry breakfast cereal (and could add milk to it once at work). It works like a charm! Surprisingly, I had a difficult time finding a nice little bowl like this one and I will probably purchase the set soon.
