    Design and Functionality
People Towels are extremely thin and fold down to a very small size, so you can take them anywhere. Discreet and versatile enough for use anytime you'd normally use paper towels, like restrooms, the gym, kitchen or school. Replaces disposable hand towels, Kleenex and paper towels. Materials
100% organic cotton, Fair Trade, silk-screened with eco-friendly dyes

Organic cotton is a far superior alternative to chemical-laden conventional cotton. More and more farmers around the world are growing cotton without costly, harmful chemicals. Their yield is high and the quality of the cotton they grow is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton. Their methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water.

    Sustainability
Every day, more than 3,000 tons of paper towel waste is produced in the U.S. alone. To make one ton of paper towels, 17 trees and 20,000 gallons of water are polluted. By using People Towels in place of paper towels, you can dramatically reduce waste and resource consumption.

    About People Towels
Convinced that every person can have a positive impact on the environment by making small lifestyle changes, the company has introduced a new category of easy-to-adopt products in the sustainable business category, with the flagship product People Towels. Now, people from all walks of life and businesses of all sizes can easily contribute to a sustainable environment by switching from use-and-toss paper towels to a convenient, organic cotton towel.

    4.0 Kids like the designs

    Comments about Product:

Two were purchased for my children to use in their daily packed lunches. I could ave easily used/purchased regular, plain wash cloths or cloth napkins, however with my children at school, we wanted something to not appear from the linen closet and perhaps be a learning tool. *NOTE, napkin size is smaller than average washcloth.

Both children like the cute pictures and the napkins have been a topic during lunch break. I'd rather spend the few extra $ on these napkins, which the material is organic, and the napkins create discussion during lunch. Perhaps the other children will talk about it at home? In the end, the purpose is to reduce excessive paper waste, which we achieved with these cloth napkins. I could hope the other children will want to do the same too?

I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cute, quirky style cloth napkin which has messages of reducing, reusing and recycling tied into the images/text. Perfect for kids!

I gave 4/5 only due to cost for a single, small napkin.

    2.0 needs some improvement

    Comments about Product:

this product is my least favorite from reuseit so far. the size is small and it will have to be washed often to replace paper towels or regular dish towels. i wish they were the size of a paper towel and dried very quickly in order to reuse again and again. not practical for wiping spills because they get dirty too quick to use again in a short amount of time. good intentions but falling far short of eliminating the use of paper especially since i already have dish towels and these don't replace them either; again, partly due to the size.

    1.0 not worth it!!!!!!!!!

    Comments about Product:

These "towels" are a joke. They are much too small. Even if you miss the small print that says they are 9 inches--I measured, they are only 8 and a half. And other reviews say they

shrink. So many they are towels for people with little tiny hands or for babies.

They are cute but you could make them yourself for half the price--- or get some at the dollar store.

    5.0 Great product!

    Comments about Product:

I love these towels! I can't tell you how many times I have been in my car and needed a real towel or how many times I've been in the ladies room and there were no towels. These not only meet that need but they do it in a small, compact way that fits easily into my bag.

    Comments about Product:

These hand towels make the perfect napkins for my kids' school lunches. My kids enjoy the fun prints and that the towels are soft and not bulky. I've had a set for two years now. They have worn well but are getting a little thin. I'm glad I could order more. Thanks Reuseit!

5.0 Hoping to make a change

    Comments about Product:

I bought a bunch of these to give to each of my family members at Christmas. All of these households, sadly, use paper towels. This is my attempt to reduce their disposable usage.

The cute designs and soft cotton made these towels well liked and I think they will be used. Thanks to Reuseit for having such great options to disposable products!

5.0 Love how cute they are!

    Comments about Product:

Been using for about a month now. Love the cute patterns, softness and the size is perfect. I used these to replace paper towels. The little sewn in towel hook was perfect to hang them on my already installed paper towel rack in my kitchen and makes it easy to grab when needed. Simply use and throw in the wash and dryer. I also use them in my kids laptop lunches for school. Everyone wants to know where my kids got them. I would buy again and as they add more designs will add to my collection. They hold up through washing well. Just a few stains from tomatoes or berries but that would come with any towel with regular use. I must have for a busy household!

    Comments about Product:

I ordered two People Towels and love them! It's a great way to reduce the use and waste of paper towels. I brought them on vacation and used them at a reststop, and plan to put one in my gym bag. I have also brought one to work and use that throughout the day. I plan to purchase more!

    3.0 super cute but expensive

    Comments about Product:

Very very cute napkins. The only drawback is that they were quite pricey for what they are. The napkins are small and shrank a bit in the wash. They are certainly perfect for lunches and I take them to work all the time - a great alternative to the paper towel!

3.0 Nice idea, but too much shrinkage

    Comments about Product:

I really liked these reusable hand towels at first. They were small, but not too small. I kept one hanging by the fridge and used it often. After the towels were washed a few times, they shrunk so much as to be useless as a paper towel. If they were just a bit bigger, maybe the size of an actual paper towel, the shrinkage wouldn't be as noticeable.

2.0 Cute but small and cheap

    Comments about Product:

The designs are really cute, but they are much smaller than I thought they would be. They are more like a napkin than a towel. They feel very thin and cheaply made and aren't very absorbent. Any wash cloth that I have laying around the house could have served the same purpose. I wish I hadn't wasted my money, but it's not worth it to me to bother returning. They are priced too high for what they are. If they were a little cheaper I may have been a little more satisfied.

    5.0 Great towel, needs hook

    Comments about Product:

This is an update to my earlier review. I didn't like digging around in my bag with wet hands but I would forget to dig out the towel before washing. I found a great solution! I took a small carabiner hook from a Chicobag and attached the towel to the strap of my everyday tote bag. Now the towel is easily accessible and I use it much more often than I did before. I'm giving this towel 5 stars now but only because of my adaptation.

    3.0 Great for on-the-go

    Comments about Product:

These are great to stash in your purse and use in public restrooms instead of paper towels. My 3 year old son was terrified of hand dryers up until recently, and so we opted for hand sanitizer. Now that we have these little towels, we can get a good hand washing and drying! I will admit that I thought the size would be much larger, and I think the price of the item for its size is on the expensive side. If they were around the $3-4 mark, I'd consider buying a few to use in the kitchen in place of paper towels, but for nearly $8, I won't buy more.

    Comments about Product:

My brought-from-home lunches are getting more and more green (thanks to reusablebags.com) but I was still stuck on paper napkins -- until now! I love these. They are the perfect size and the "This is not a tree" design is so cute. Hold up well after washing/drying.

    5.0 Great!

    Comments about Product:

I keep one of these hanging on a hook by the kitchen sink, to use for drying my hands or drying off produce after I wash it (which was my primary use for paper towels). They work great, wash out fairly well, and my husband even complimented me on how nice they look!

    Comments about Product:

These towels are perfect for reducing my paper towel waste at the office. They are just the right size and thickness and can easily be tucked into a pocket or handbag. I wish I had thought of this idea years ago! I expect to save about 1,000 paper towels each year by using People Towels. Thanks for this great product!

5.0 People Towels Reusable Hand Towels

    Comments about Product:

I bought one of these to use at work. I have my own cubicle and hang it up with a magnetic clip on my file cabinet to dry out. I was surprised at first by the small size and texture of this towel, it's about the size and feel of a standard wash cloth, but is made with a different fiber so is very absorbent and dries quite quickly. I will be buying more of these. I highly recommend them.

    5.0 perfect size and texture

    Comments about Product:

I'm pleased with the terrycloth feel of the towel--it is so much more absorbent than paper towels. I like the smaller size and thinness--perfect for drying hands and not bulky in a purse or bag. I also like the cute design (not a tree). I will definitely bring this with me when I travel.

    4.0 Good idea, but...

    Comments about Product:

I really liked the idea of these. I'm frequently out & about with two small kids who have to make bathroom stops and either they don't quite get their hands dry with air dryers, or we go through more paper towels than we really should, so this seemed like a good solution. I think I haven't gotten used to having them because I seem to forget they're in my purse more often than not (my fault, not the product's, obviously). These get 5 stars for the idea, but my first reaction when I got them was "why did I pay this much for something I could have made myself?"

    2.0 Hand Towels

    Comments about Product:

The towels are great for use as a napkin. They are very small. I was expecting something larger, thus the name "towel." I was hoping to use them in place of paper towels in the kitchen but they are much too small for that. For the price, not really worth it.

5.0 People Towels Reusable Hand Towels

    Comments about Product:

At first I thought this was too small and was disappointed. As it turns out it is perfect in size and I ordered two more. One of my peeves is the fingertip towel in the bathroom being left in a perpetually damp wad next to the sink. Now I keep one of these hanging from a countertop towel rod. My kids can dry their hands independendtly with the towel hanging. It dries rather quickly. Small enough to not mind changing them regularly, especially during cold and flu season.

    3.0 great idea, average quality

    Comments about Product:

I ordered six of these because I loved the idea of reducing/eliminating my paper towel use while at work, and have enjoyed using them. The patterns are very cute, and the towel is just the right size -- large enough to dry my hands, but small enough to be relatively unobtrusive when I run the towel's loop through my belt. However, I was displeased with the quality of these towels, given their high price -- most of the towel loops have pulled out from the seam during their first use, which I find pretty annoying. I will stitch the loops back in place and keep using the towels, but I was hoping for a higher quality product!
