I live in an apartment building with a parking lot, elevator and 12 stairs to navigate to get my things up to my apartment. I've tried several different types of basket carts. They are hard to navigate and impossible on the stairs. My trolley was a gift and I jumped all over it. It rolls well over all types of surfaces, even in the snow. It holds more than I thought it would. I have no doubt that it will last me a long time. I don't fold it into the pouch very often because I use the trolley so often. And it was a challenge to figure out at first. Now that my trolley is broken in, it folds in a lot easier. I recently gave a trolley as a gift. That's the best compliment, I think.
The foldable bag is a fabulous idea and designed beautifully. I love it!
This is a great bag! I bought one each for my mother and MIL for Christmas, and they both loved them! Now I'm recommending them to all my friends. Well-made and a good value. This is the perfect bag for going to the farmer's market.
I ordered the foldable trolley for both my "green girls" and they loved it. Great quality and sturdiness. My daughter filled hers with presents from Christmas and used it as carry-on for the plane. I held up great. Very atttractive
We like the Reisenthel - Foldable Trolley, Orange bag. We plan to use it while in Europe as we have a condo there and walk to shop to buys things frequently. My wife plans to buy a few more as Christmas presents to her sisters. D. T. Wu
The trolley is great for alot of things. I use it when I go to Target, the Market and last weekend I used it to cart a bunch of goodies onto my friends boat!
Terrific trolley! I use it to run errands -- from shopping to dropping off dry cleaning. Afterward, it folds to the size of a book and is easy to store in a small apartment. I wish everything were designed so well!
I love these bags. Highly recommend these to anyone who shops, whether in the city or the suburbs. They are easier for the bagger to load up at the store (just send heavy items down the belt first), and you don't have to make multiple trips out to the car to unload. They also close pretty securely at the top so you don't have loose items rolling around. When you're done with them, they zip up into a cute, tidy square. Two of them carry a trunk full of groceries and I can roll them up to my apartment in one trip rather than having to carry a ton of separate plastic bags. That has really made my life a lot easier. Also, the wheels are stable and pop up and down easily. Again, highly recommend and no complaints.
This is ABSOLUTELY a MUST-HAVE!! It is by far my favorite thing for shopping. Especially good when you're traveling, as it folds up so well. Most things never fold back into themselves (like trying to repack a tent) but this one is SO EASY! IT ROCKS!! It will be a constant for all my future gift baskets. I can not rave about this thing enough!! WOO HOO!!!
The products I ordered were great and fairly priced. The trolley is easy to use and folds up to a compact size. I would love to see what other colors are available because I think it makes a great gift. I thought delivery was prompt.
I have the Reisenthel Flora Market Basket too, I love them both!! I am fortunate enough to live within walking distance of my local market and the trolley is so handy for those larger trips when everything won’t fit in the market basket.
Amazingly compact when zipped up, but roomy and strong when expanded. Rolls well even up stairs. A great bag.
This was a present for my mom. She loves it! It folds up easily, and she says she is the envy of the senior citizen shopping bus!
I love my trolley bag. It's very compact and convenient and I love the color! Bright orange.... Denise
Bought one of these for my 86 year old mother to help on her walk and shop expeditions. Other fold up carts have proven too clumsy getting onto and off of buses and she has railed at the effort toting them around when empty. Have been awaiting her review and got it this morning. She absolutely loves the clever thing and is very proud of her ability to quickly collapse it and deploy it. She has successfully managed a couple of shopping excursions with no problem and much envy from her elderly companions. The quality of construction seems quite good and looks to be very durable. The price is very reasonable for the function it offers. The design is inspired.
It works great! I bought 2 for myself and 1 for a gift. So far, I've used it for hauling a small instrument (ukulele) and music books for caroling and group meetings. The wheels work great when I find the groove. When I do whatever it is wrong, it likes to run into my ankles. I have the same problem with bags in an airport, so can I blame the trolley? Spacious, and the side zipped compartment is very useful. Buy this!
I'm delighted with my Foldable Trolley. It's made of quality woven polyester canvas. The parts are very sturdy. The design is brilliant the way it collapses, folds and zips into a tidy case with a handle. It's perfect for strolling through the farmer's market to stock up on fresh produce.
ingenious design. simple functionality. durable material. love it!
My black foldable trolly is a fabulous find for the farmer's market. No more trying to jockey ears of corn, loaves of bread and dumplings in my arms. It folds up into virtually nothing which is great if I decide to travel with it. And at $19.99 it's a steal.
I LOVE this product. It is durable, easy to use, and just a very handy item to have around. I use it for travel, laundry, work, etc. It It makes a great gift. I have bought several for friends.
Lightweight but sturdy, and looks good, too! Perfect.
Love the orange. Love the size and ease of the trolley bag.
I was a touch skeptical when I ordered this online without testing it in a store. But as soon as I unzipped it and did a little unfolding here and turning over there, I had a remarkable bag on wheels! Then I thought to myself, there's no way I'll figure out how to get it back in its little sack the same was as it came. Wrong-O! I put it away more quickly than I set it up. It's durable, colorful, lightweight, and garners attention from others. I'm so thrilled with reusablebags.com that I'm talking up the site just as much as the trolley. The site is helps the greater good PLUS has its s#^t together as far as customer service and uber fast shipping. Thank you!
Hello, The Reisenthel Foldable Trolley is one great muscle relaxer. Before I would carry 4-2liter beverages in a paper shopping bag, which was heavy, at times. But now, I put 6-2liter beverages in the Reisenthel Foldable Trolley and hardly flex a muscle. Great construction and clever design, looks like a miniature laptop case, so impressive I ordered and received another one already. Excellect bag for the price. Sincerely, Tony H
I just purchased this item. I absolutely love it. What a great deal for the money!! It's sturdy, light weight, BIG...it's great. I use it for everything!! My rating is "EXCELLENT" Carol J. - Minnesota
This is a great shopping bag! I found it in Paris and am happy to find that my friends can also find them now in the USA. What makes the bag so great? First, it folds into its own pocket and is "tres chic" to carry on your way to shop -- smaller than a computer case, not bulky like most shopping carts. It is easy to open and the pocket is great for keeping money, shopping lists, etc. when going to the farmer's market. It opens very easily and quickly and is very light. Thus it is the weight of your groceries, not the bag, that you pull. Great find.
Clever design which eliminates the need to wheel a cart to the grocer. Light and easy to carry when folded. Lacking a rigid frame, careful packing is important, and precludes pushing. Tended to run into my ankles from time to time and I am only 5'6". Probably best suited for use with public transport or for short runs.
This is a Christmas present, so not sure how it will be liked. I really was amazed at the speed in which it arrived at my door..... and am delighted with it's looks. However, this was purchased for my 87 yr. Mother to use in her Village..... for her grocery shopping trips and also her daily trips to her laundry facilities! I LOVE THE ORANGE COLOR, and KNOW THAT SHE WILL TOO!
I bought this trolley for use at the farmers market and have used it once so far. I buy a lot at the market and typically have to juggle multiple heavy bags full of food, all the while trying to select produce and get money out of my wallet in a crowded market. It was really awkward. This trolley has basically solved that problem. Pros: It's very handy, as it zips up into a compact packets that can be stored away easily when not in use. It's aesthetically well designed. The fabric is stiff enough that it stands up when in use - you can set it aside while you are gathering and paying for your items at each stand in the market. Cons: It's a little on the short side. I'm 5'6" and have to bend to the side just a teensy bit in order to hold the handle and pull the trolley. This got uncomfortable after while. I spent about 40 minutes rolling it around the market, probably got only half of what I usually buy, and my arms were very tired by the end. That being said, it works better than anything else I've tried and I haven't seen a better looking alternative.
although this trolley is great, loading it up with too much stuff and then walking home a few city blocks doesn't work out that well. the weight made it so heavy that a bit of the bottom dragged on the ground and ripped. easy fix though, with a patch (or some duct tape? haha). that being said, the trolley holds a lot of things and folds up really small, meaning it fits in a (large-ish) purse, making it ideal for me.
I have only used the bag once so far and I think I filled it too full. It was a little hard to roll home after shopping and maybe I am a little too tall for it. But I love the way it folds up and i will continue using it.
A good idea for a rolling bag. I love how it folds up very compactly and when open the outer cover part makes a small compartment on the outside of the bigger bag. I would have rated this higher except for the fact that when I fill the bag with groceries it has a huge tendency to tip over. Also, the wheels slide around at the wrong time, like when I'm trying to put stuff in and take stuff out of the bag. Overall, handy to walk to the store with. However, I would love to see a better version that is more stable.
I really like my trolley. I have one complaint, It is a bit too short for me. I'm 5'8 and I had to lean over to use it the first time. I had and extra dog collar and used that to lengthen the handles. Now its fine. It does make my walks to the market more enjoyable. My hands don't get tired now.
I wish that it could weigh less. If not, then an adjustable shoulder strap would be appreciated.
I love this thing. It folds down to a wonderfully compact size, about the size of a small purse, but unfolds to a rolling tote more than large enough to handle even my more exuberent farmer's market trips. It does tend to fall over once you start filling it up, so you have to be a little more careful about how it is balanced before you let go of it (unlike a more traditional wire-mesh portable cart). But to me, that is a trade well worth making in exchange for something that folds down so small I can slide it under the front seat of my minivan!! Always with me, never in the way!!
I bought the Trolley for my Dad to use. He really likes it. The only comment he made was that it gets top heavy if too full even when you put the heavy stuff on bottom. But since he now knows that he has adjusted accordingly and seems pleased. I'm glad I found it for him since he doesn't drive any longer and takes a shuttle bus to town.
I really like the compact case within the bag. However, for somebody who lives in the city and needs to take public transportation, it is not realistic to carry up to 30 pounds on a bus. It was a bit awkward and hurt my back. I almost had to drag it and already scraped the curb and put a small hole in the bag. I will still use it but for smaller loads for only a couple of blocks. But not on the metro.
The pouch for the trolley is well-constructed and easy to carry to shopping destination. The wheels are remarkably sturdy. I have two complaints: the handle is very short, so the trolley rides low to the ground. I am only 5' tall, but I had trouble using the handle; someone taller would likely find it even more difficult. Also, when the troley is full (supposed to hold up to 30 pounds), the underside rides along the sidewalk. The first one I purchased was torn to shreds on its first use until I learned (the hard way) not to pack it very full.
I use this for grocery as well as delivering my Avon orders. It is convenient and handy but the only problem is the handle is not adjustable and if one is short like me the bag will drag on the ground, tearing the bag.
I am neutral on this product. It is handy to throw in a backpack for grocery trips and is quite compact. A great concept. However, the handle length is not adjustable, and as a shorter person, I found that when filled with heavier items, my arms are strained quite a bit because the bag does not sit low enough for me when it's rolling. Slightly longer handles would put it at a better length for me. I am still experimenting with ways to modify it. For now, I am using it for light but bulky things like cereal and paper goods, and putting heavier items in my backpack. So, for me, a great concept, but if you are a shorter person, it may be better to use for lighter things.
I love the trolley bag to carry things back and forth to our boat. However, I either overloaded or needed a lesson on how to pull it, because after just one week there were holes on the wheel side where the bag hit the ground. Maybe the front where the wheels are can be reinforced. I have put patches on the inside to prevent the holes from getting worse and am now sure to pull the trolley upright. Thanks, ER
I like the idea of this trolley, but I am 5'10" tall and it is a bit uncomfortable to pull - too short. Also, the front is all ripped up from dragging on the ground at the farmer's market where I use it. I buy all my produce there and fill it quite full - maybe too full? I need another one, and will probably purchase something else, something a bit more durable. Lastly, I can't just let go of the handle when it has somthing in it as it will tip over. Learned this the hard way and was scrambling to pick up all my tomatoes before they rolled away and/or got stepped on.
It's nice but too small for what I wanted. It's also VERY hard to get up the stairs to my apartment. The wheels do not roll properly. I'll probably sell it on eBay.
We were a little disappointed in this product. Although it was very compact it didn't come close to being sturdy for the purpose it was intended.
Unfortunately, this bag did not hold up as well as I would have liked. A one bag shopping trip with mostly fruits and veggies caused the bag to droop, rubbing against the sidewalk, creating small tears in the fabric at the bottom of the bag. A second trip for mostly paper products (and a lighter load) fared much better.
I was not thrilled with this item. Because it is cloth and has no structure of it's own, it must be pulled beside you instead of behind you to avoid it hitting your heels, and this is very hard on your arms, especialy if you have anything remotly heavy in it. Also, due to the lack of structure, the bottom edge drags on the ground when it is pulled. I've only used it once, and got a hole in it from the canvas scraping on the ground. I was very dissapointed in how the bag held up to actual use.
