Design & Functionality
Just like the original reuseit™ Workhorse 1500, our Eco Circle Workhorse has a truly innovative feature - it folds into its own mini-sack attached inside the bag. Once stuffed into its pouch, it measures only 2" x 4" x 2", easily fitting into the palm of your hand and small enough to stash in a purse or pocket so you will always have one handy. Plus, it is impossible to lose the storage pouch since it's attached to the bag. Weighing in at only 2.0 ounces, these lightweights perform like champs. Each bag opens into a heavy-duty, water- and mildew-resistant 21"x 16" x 6" sack and holds up to 25 lbs. With this bag, you may never have to take a plastic shopping bag again.
Materials
Eco Circle provides a closed-loop recycling system for polyester products, producing a recycled polyester fiber with the same strength and durability as new fiber – but without the use of petroleum. This cradle-to-cradle system reduces trash production as well as oil consumption. About Eco Circle
Eco Circle is a closed-loop recycling system for used polyester products. The system employs the world's first technology for chemical recycling, which chemically decomposes polyester for conversion into new polyester raw materials that offer purity comparable to those derived from petroleum. Compared to developing polyester materials from petroleum, this repeatable recycling system reduces energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 80% each.

These are my absolute favorite reusable bags because they are so strong and durable, the feel of the bag is really nice, and they fold up so small I can carry several of them in my purse. I love the look on the checkout person's face when I pull one of these out of my purse! They are so surprised. Unlike a plastic bag, you can fit so much in one of these bags and never have to worry about it breaking. I only need a few of these for my entire week's groceries. Not only that, they are beautiful so my cart is the best looking grocery cart at the store! And it's so cool that they're made out of recycled plastic. They cost a little more than some of the other bags, but they are well worth it because they last FOREVER. I buy them as gifts and the people I give them to are completely delighted.

Had some older Acme bags hat were beginning to get frayed. Bought a couple of these to replace the worst ones. Very roomy and feel so nice. They hold a lot and are always a hit when I shop. AND they're 100% recycled.....can't get better than that!

I got my first Workhorse bag free with an order, and I've since ordered a bunch more. The bags are compact and fit easily into my glove compartment or purse. They're also attractive and are made from a silky fabric that's pleasing to the touch. Overall, they're a pleasure to use. I'll be giving several of them to friends as gifts.

I am giving the ACME Bags Workhorse a 5-star rating. How can you not love this bag.....it really is a workhorse! Plus it fits in my fairly small purse, and that is a must! I could not shop without it! It has already paid for itself and makes a unique gift for a bride or a stocking-stuffer/door prize. We bought a few of these bags to give at Christmas time and kept one for ourselves. We have several of the older version of the Workhorse, which has performed very well. This new bag is a little deeper and the material seems a little "beefier", so it should hold up well since all our originals are going strong.

They might not be as cute as some others, but they are so compact when folded and carry a ton of groceries. My go to bag! Only wish they would sew a tab on the bag to "hang" it where the grocery store's bags are, so it was easier to load.

Compares well to Chico bags

I have had both the conventional and recycled Chico bags, and this ACME bag is sturdier than the conventional Chico bag, and less stiff and crinkly than the recycled Chico bag. I wish it had an attached carabiner clip - a useful feature of the Chico bags.

This is such a great bag! I just fold it up and stick it in my purse, and since most of the time I tend to forget bags when I'm just picking up a few things this bag is always there, so I don't have to use the plastic bags at the store. It's great for grocery shopping too. Very strong.

I chose the recycled bags to be as eco-friendly as possible even though other bags may have a slightly softer feel to them, as some reviews claimed. I am very happy with my choice and glad I stood by my ideals. The gray and green colors are subtle and lovely (and don't show dirt much). The bags are strong, light, and easy to carry. I attached a clip to one to clip it to the zipper of a bigger bag I often carry to keep it from getting lost in my junk. The bags are easy enough to shove back into their little holders, and sometimes I actually fold one up to slip it in but the wrinkles don't bother me so I usually just tuck it away however. The wrinkles aren't overly obvious anyway and tend to pull out when you carry stuff around in the bag for a while. The bags fit great on the holders at Wal-Mart, etc. for easy loading for the cashiers. I'd like to see them offer a recycled version with long handles for carrying over the shoulder, with wide enough straps so that they don't dig in when the bag is loaded to max weight capacity. The price was reasonable, shipping quick and inexpensive, overall I am very happy with all aspects of my purchase, would recommend these bags and this site to friends, and plan to shop here in the future.
