We love this bag largely because every piece of it is made in the USA (fabric, 100% recycled insulation, strap, ice pack), and it's hand-assembled here too! It's the first in a series of “Made in the USA” products from our critically acclaimed reuseit™ line. Based on designs that are customer favorites and proven winners – just the right size to fit in a work or school bag, or use the shoulder strap to carry on its own.
High-performance insulation made from 100% recycled plastic bottles / containers helps keep heat-sensitive food cool for hours and also protects contents from getting crushed. Design & Functionality
A "mini-fridge" sized just right with plenty of room for a sandwich, bottle and lots of space for goodies. High-performance recycled insulation is top quality - at more than double the density of other thermal fills, it outperforms cheaper insulation found in mass-market lunch bags. The included non-toxic reusable freezer pack sits in a separate interior pocket and stays cold 3X as long as regular ice with no watery mess. Additional features include an adjustable shoulder strap and strong Velcro top closure that keeps contents intact. Pair with coordinating reuseit™ snack and sandwich bags.
Staff tips: A cold reusable bottle used in place of the freezer pack frees up the interior pocket for other stuff; pre-cooling the lunch bag overnight in the fridge also helps keep it colder, longer.

Its durable shell is made from tough, high-quality nylon fabric that is lead-free. 100% recycled insulation is made in the USA, comes from plastic bottles and containers, and contains no phthalates. We estimate that the insulation used in each lunch bag saves approximately 1-2 plastic bottles from landfills. The non-toxic freezer pack is reusable and also made in the USA. 100% guaranteed against defects in materials or construction for life. If for any reason the bag fails due to normal wear and tear, we will fix or replace it for you free of charge.

On small spills use a damp cloth and wipe clean. For occasional cleaning, toss in the washing machine and drip dry. Keep in mind, the more care you take of your reusable lunch bags the longer they will last and the smaller your ecological footprint.

convenient, small bag
I use this bag to pack my toddler's lunch for daycare. It enables me to pack a couple of containers plus 2 bottles and still is small and easy for me to throw over my shoulder. It's easy to clean too.

Wonderful lunch bag. Fits alot and perfect for a pre-teen to carry since it has no logos. So good in fact, that my son has "lost" two of them in school...I'm convinced they're living in new homes. Time to order more.

I can usually fit a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a bag of chips, a 27 oz Kleen Kanteen, a cloth napkin, freeze pack, and utensils. Occasionally, it takes some effort to get the Velcro shut. Still, I don't think the snug fit justifies a complaint. I've been very happy with this bag.

Love It!
I've had one of these insulated lunch bags for a while now. I can't believe how much it holds and how well and how long it keeps things nice and cold. My daughter loved mine so much that I recently bought two more. I also liked the fact that the cold pack comes with the lunch bag - no need to purchase one on the side.

We love this bag!
All 3 of my childen have this bag. They use it everyday for their school lunches. It is just the right size for me to send them with lunch and a snack. The strap makes for easy carrying.

Not what I expected
This bag is much smaller than it appears on the website. The design is also poor. The opening at the top is not wide enough to allow you to get containers in. You also can't fit a taller type water bottle (SIG or similar aluminum bottle) because they are too tall. I am returning this bag as it does not fit my needs. It might be good for someone who only carries a sandwich and a fruit, but I need something bigger.

disappointed
I don't know if the construction is deliberately tapered at the opening, but the top four corners are tapered- noticeably- and I can't fit the same containers into this one as I can with another one I bought last year.

This bag is perfect for lunches!
I am so Pleased with this bag. I have been using it for about 4 months for my sons school lunches and I want to get one for myself! It is easy to clean and the ice pack really does keep his food cold all day. I use the pocket for dry foods and slide the ice pack down in the back and it works great! A year after my son started using a lead tainted lunchbox (unbeknownst to me) he was diagnosed with a sensory disorder. I started reading up on chemical free products and in the process, found out that lead has been known to cause autism, as well as the sensory disorder my son has. I can now feel confident that he is getting healthy food in an earth-friendly manner. He is a much happier kid because of it.

These lunch bags are very well insulated. I would have preferred it a little wider to accommodate the 18 oz Klean Kanteen water bottle, a lunch container and a piece of fruit a bit easier. I purchased two to give as gifts. Finally a camo gift for my son.

Keeps lunches cold!
Keeps lunches cold! Love the ice pack with it. Just wish the bag was a bit bigger. We use it for my son's lunch at school and the water bottle doesn't fit in it.

This is a nice, no frills bag: sturdy with a thick velcro closure and a wide mouth. It also contains a pocket to hold an ice pack. My only real complaint is that the base of the bag could be a bit wider to accomodate a sandwich laid flat. This is minor and highly surmountable problem.

This bag turned out to be a little smaller than I'
This bag turned out to be a little smaller than I'd expected (wanted it to hold lunch/snacks for 2 people) but other than that I really like it. I like the handles and the pocket for an "ice" packet. Like everything else we've ordered from Reusable Bags, it's wonderful!
