Produce savers: Always keep produce savers dry. Keep unused produce savers in zip-lock bag.
To dispose of produce savers: Minerals are safe enough to toss into the garden, but please note that potassium permanganate is basically a salt and will harm plants if there is too much in the soil. If this is a concern, dispose of in the garbage.
Tips
- Keep your produce saver in an empty plastic berry container in your crisper. It will keep the saver dry while allowing for air circulation.
- You can also tape the produce saver to the side of your produce drawer.

Useful & better than paperbag or plastic
I've got 3 sets of these tan EarthTote Shopping Bag Set over the length of 4 years cos my mom visited and she wanted some, then my sister-in-law visited and she wanted those also - my neighbors and a bunch of shoppers got interested (which got directed to this site). Then imagine my surprise when they're also selling EarthTote Insulated Shopping Bag, which I bought 2... but I just knew I would end up giving away one and buy some more. For description of EarthTote Shopping Bag and why I like so much - these are very durable (can hold the weight of 4 of 3-Litre soda bottles), washable (I recommend machine-washing the bags and then hang to dry quarterly), can stand on it's own (it's just a tad weak upright, but can stand if properly folded when not in use) and these are attractive than plastic or brown paper bag.

Great Bags!
My mom has had a set of these for years. I've always used canvas bags that I had around the house but I finally decide to invest in these bags. They are great! You can fit so much into them and they stand up on their own which is extremely nice when loading them up. They are worth the investment!

good bags
I bought these bags as as gifts for my mother and mother-in-law and they are really nice. Definitely fit as much as a paper bag, but have the great handles and the pocket in the front. I would love to order a set for myself, but they are a little expensive for me. I don't think the produce bags that come with them are as great as the flip and tumble produce bags you can order separately, but they will work.

Love the set! The bags are great!!
These bags are really awesome. As everyone has stated, they stand up straight, but also fold flat. They are spacious and have durable handles. I love the side pocket where I can stick a receipt or a magazine. I suspect these bags will last me for years/decades to come! What a great investment. =)

Great Bags
These bags stand up straight, hold a ton of stuff, and are so much sturdier than the ones you buy at the supermarket. I was not sure if I would have buyer's remorse after I bought these, but I only wish I had bought them sooner now.

Great product!
These bags are well constructed and attractive. They are large enough to hold a lot of items and sturdy enough to carry "weighty" items. I love that they stand up and have a square bottom. It makes it very easy to bag groceries.

This set is the BEST! I had never used reusable bags before I got these, and I will NEVER go back to plastic! They are so durable yet so lightweight, and they hold so many groceries. I love that I can put the straps over my shoulders, keeping my hands free. Bag boys do not seem to mind these at all--actually some seem to prefer them because they can load so many groceries into one bag. The produce bags have worked very well also. Overall this is definitely the best "starter" set out there! I plan to buy these for Christmas gifts this year!

Sturdy shopping bags which hold many items, stand
Sturdy shopping bags which hold many items, stand easily, yet are relatively lightweight and will fold into a small enough area to cram into a stroller back pocket. Easier to carry heavier loads than with typical cloth-type grocery bags, the shorter handles are wide and so they don't cut into your hands if you've overstuffed the bag. Excellent choice!

These bags are great!
These bags are great! I bought these bags back in November 2007 and they are still in like-new condition. I use them quite often for shopping or just lugging things around. I keep several in my car so that I always have them handy. They are quite sturdy and can hold a lot.

These are sturdy bags which seem to be made to last. They are also a little bit larger, I'd say, than a paper bag and have the added advantage of the handles so you can fill the bag more than you would a paper bag. The set is great for us since I really dislike going to the grocery store often and like to make big purchases of food to last 10-14 days. This set fits the bill for that!

I really like the Acme Earth Tote for all the reas
I really like the Acme Earth Tote for all the reasons we like a brown paper shopping bag except this bag is more friendly, obviously. Even better than brown paper, this bag's large size, heavy canvas, flat bottom, sturdy handles, and waterproof inner coating make it the best things since... well, you know.
