About Bazura Bags
Bazura Bags come from a women's co-op in the Philippines that set up a Livelihood Project assisted by the local village council. With almost no capital, the women found a very clever way to support themselves.
Every day, children from the local schools collect over 50,000 used drink containers, called doy packs, then sell them to the co-op. The bags are sanitized and the women sew them together into attractive, durable bags.
Unlike most third world factory workers toiling away in sweatshops, these women are entrepreneurs and shareholders. They work for themselves, have a positive impact on their community, and encourage environmentalism.
Fact
It's estimated that millions of juice containers get thrown in the trash everyday in the Philippines.
Tip
Got a stuck zipper? Rubbing both sides of the zipper with a bar of soap or wax helps! Or try our other zipper tips.

Nice insulated bag
I've enjoyed the small bazura bag that I recently purchased. It's a nice size for my daughter to use for packing snacks at school or for a modest size lunch. I can generally fit an apple, a yogurt, a bag of veggies and an ice pack inside.

Perfect for toddler & infant
I use this bag to transport pumped milk to daycare - holds 3 6 oz bottles very nicely. The bag is so cute and stands out from everyone else's cooler. I also use it for snacks for my toddler - keeps everything nice and cool. Also easy to add an ice pack. I use a hard ice pack that stands up easily like the ones that come with the Fit & Fresh lunch pods.

love the Bazura bags
I am happily using my Bazura lunch bag. The size small is perfect for fruit, a petite sandwich and a small yogurt. The bags are cute, too.

These not only are eye-catching, but a great example of creative reuse of what others would consider "trash"!

I bought this bag for a friend
I bought this bag for a friend. She's a teacher and she loves that she doesn't have to worry about putting her lunch bag in the fridge since this bag is insulated. It is small, but perfect for someone who does not take a huge lunch to work (she is able to fit a soda, fruit, and string cheese).

This is a cute bag my daughter loves, but it's too small for a lunch bag. If it were 25-30% bigger it would be perfect.

The concept behind this bag is wonderful and the design is cute, however since you can't choose color or pattern, you might end up with something you really don't like the look of...mine is bright orange "Plus juice drink", my daughter however loves the little bag, it is the perfect size for her.

The design is cute and easily rinsed off. I bought it for my preschooler as a lunch bag and I wish it was a bit larger but is great for packing snacks on quick outings. I'll have to get the larger size next time I buy!

This is the perfect size for a bento bag!
1 out of 1 customers found this review helpful
This is the perfect size for a bento bag! My bento box fits neatly in the bottom and there's plenty of room on top for a sidecar or some fruit. It was a bit difficult to unzip the first couple of times but no I have no problem and so far it's held up well.

Nice little bag for my son's lunch
Nice little bag for my son's lunch. A great size for a smaller child, probably not the right size for an adult or "big kid".

My 9 year old daughter uses this bag for school lunch, every day. She loves it. I love it. The inside is very easy to clean and there is a small pocket to put utensils (or whatever)in. It is funky and fun to look at. And we are helping women. It is on the small side but perfect for my daughter. Obviously, we are not using paper bags or exposing her to the possibility of lead from another type of lunch box. It is so well made that I'm sure we will not have to buy another bag for many years. I am going to buy the medium size for myself.

I really like the little lunch bag, it is cute and I have gotten several compliments on it. There is however one problem. It is not big enough to hold a frozen lunch ( like weight watchers of healthy choice). If it were taller they would fit. Kathy Kerridge

Actually my order was for a birthday gift for a friend. I was impressed when I received the item by how cute it was and it seemed to be well made and I liked the fact that it was made of recycled juice containers by a women's group in the Phillipines. I did hear that my friend likes the bag and is using it daily to transport her lunch from home to her job. Thanks.
