Durable, safe alternative to polycarbonate sport bottles. This kid-sized version of the Vite series from Bilt is perfect for backpacks, lunch bags and bike cages. The pop-top makes drinking easy and the snap-cover locks out dirt and grime. Unique lid design for easy carrying and clipping onto a backpack or gym bag. Thread pattern allows for easy lid attachment and fits most backcountry water filters including MSR and Katadyn.

Lightweight and easy to use, Bilt Vite Stainless Steel Sport Bottle is a durable reusable container that will not leach toxins into its contents. The wide mouth accommodates ice cubes and makes it easy to clean. FDA-approved #5 polypropylene pop-top is easy enough for a child to use and the easy-grip indents are perfect for small hands. Fits most bike cages and car cup holders.
Materials
Bilt stainless steel bottles are made with premium food-grade type 304 stainless steel. This material is chosen for its consistent quality and performance characteristics of not leaching chemicals, staining, corroding or rusting. The inside of Bilt bottles are finished using an electrolyte charge and dolomitic sand-blasting, which seals the surface and prevents minerals from migrating into the contents.
#5 polypropylene is a durable plastic with no known leaching characteristics. The polypropylene parts used on these bottles are subject to internal batch testing combined with testing by an independent agency, SGS, to US FDA and European Norm (EN) food container standards.
Sustainability
Reusing durable Bilt bottles ultimately helps you consume less over time. 304 (or 18/8) stainless steel is a sustainable material, having a long service life, usability in a number of applications and is environmentally friendly. I love this bottle
I love this bottle. Love the size, the look, the color. However, the gasket comes out whenever I unscrew the lid and I find this so annoying that it has drastically affected my rating. If they could fix this one problem I would give it 5 stars. The only other issue I've had is one time I forgot to push the silicon bubble back in (you need to push it down for the air to go through so you can drink through the cap) and I put it in my purse so water leaked out. That was also super annoying but user error on my part. When its sealed properly it does not leak.

I bought this bottle for my 7 year old son
I bought this bottle for my 7 year old son. It is wonderfully made, very sturdy and the sport spout makes use easy and mess free. I love the fact that the spout has a cover. Things can get messy in a back pack and the cover helps keep the spout clean. It is the perfect size for trips to the park or sport practices. The colors are great and the sale price makes it very affordable.

I purcahsed this water bottle for my 4
I purcahsed this water bottle for my 4.5 yr old son and we both really like it. I prefer stainless steel over aluminum because of all the talk about aluminum leaching. And I personally am not interested in a bottle that has some kind of epoxy liner that can and will eventually break down. The size is perfect for a child...a bit small for an adult. I like the wide mouth for cleaning and the sports cap makes it real simple to use....while driving, biking, etc... I also like that the sports cap has a snap on cover to keep it clean. Both bottle and cap appear to be made well. I have had no problems with leaks. One person mentioned that the air valve sometimes leaks, but maybe they were unaware that this valve is made to take out if you want to increase water flow...so maybe it just needs to be re-inserted. I love that is has a finger loop for carrying, as the exterior of the bottle gets extremely cold and gets a bit uncomfortable to carry. Over-all...nice bottle, and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

This bottle is just right
This bottle is just right. I wanted a light-weight stainless steel bottle to carry in my bag. I had larger Kleen Kanteens that are great but too big; double-walled containers whose capacities were too small and were too heavy; and I wanted a bottle I wouldn't need two hands to open. This is it. And the Bilt is cute as well. The colors are vibrant. One suggestion to Bilt -- offer different color tops with each bottle -- the green top on the blue bottle is adorable. 16 ounces is perfect. Not so large that it is too heavy when completely filled but not so small that one gulp seems to empty the container. The price is nice as well.

I love this water bottle
I love this water bottle. It fits into my purse without taking up a bunch of room and never leaks. The spout is super easy for drinking on the train and bus on my way to work...and love the bright green color!
