Design & Functionality
Use it to carry everything from food to electronics. Its material not only insulates, but cradles and helps protect items from impact. Bag zips shut to keep items in place. Stores completely flat or can be rolled up for easy storage.

Materials
Made with lightweight insulating neoprene. Neoprene is water-resistant, abrasion-resistant (there's a reason why it's preferred by coral reef divers), has insulating properties & is extremely lightweight. At less than 5mm thick, it protects while not being bulky. It's also vinyl-free and lead-safe.

Love It!!!
This is the second purchase I've made of these lunch bags and they are THE BEST!!! I used to buy the regular insulated lunch bags but wiping them out was never enough and throwing them in the wash would just destroy them. So when I found these neoprene/wet suit lunch boxes on Reusable Bags.com, I gave them a try, even though they were a little pricier than the other ones. Well, they ended up saving me alot of money in the long run because they lasted two full school years for our three kids. I had to sew up a few holes that would form from time to time, but that's ok. I could probably even get them to go one more year, and I might try it, too, before I get out the new ones for the kids! I love the new garden pattern. The patterned ones (dots, etc.) seem to wear a little better than the solid colored ones. This is a great product!!!

Best Investment I Could Make

I purchased the Built Gourmet Getaway while I was home recovering from surgery. I was hoping it would arrive before my first day back to work but it came the next day. The bag is the right size to hold my lunch items and expands to hold any other extras I might be taking with me that day. When I empty the bag, she compresses to fit into my backpack for easy transportation both to work when she is filled and at the end of the day to come home. Would I purchase this item again, in a NY minute.....Usually bags are either too big, too small or just won't accomodate what I need to carry and this one does.

Awesome cooler/lunch tote!
This bag stores so compact and flat, but opens up to hold a large amount of food. We first used our tote for an all day long trip to the zoo where it held more than enough food for 2 people. It has a very sturdy zipper closure and kept everything nice and chilled the entire day. I highly recommend. Also has a sleek design and is different from every other bag on the market.

Just what I envisioned and hoped for - a simple handy bag into which I can cram my multiple meals for the day... and look good carrying.... AND not allow spills in my work bag! I am absolutely delighted. The size is reasonable (i.e. doesn't look or feel too big/small), yet it accommodates all that I need. Some days I have to bring all my meals (B, L, D & snacks) with me and this fits them all. Sometimes I squeeze my 1L Sigg in with my lunch, just to cut down on loose items. This bag keeps everything snug and together and keeps the drips and leaks away from my books and papers. It's well-'built' and sturdy and I doubt I could be happier.

I got Built's Gourmet Getaway Insulated Tote Bag to use in conjunction with ToGo Ware's 2-Tier SS Food Carrier to carry small meals, to-go orders and restaurant leftovers around with more style, safety and security. Excellent choice! I really like this tote's sophisticated yet very practical design (love the handles), stretchy Neoprene fabric and insulation, and sturdy construction. The food carrier fits inside snuggly -- its flat bottom keeps the tote from falling over on flat surfaces -- and the industrial-strength zipper keeps everything inside protected (think food safety) and away from the elements. The tote/food carrier combo has those awful styrofoam containers beat on so many levels that I can't cite them all! Suffice it to say that I highly recommend it.

These are the best lunchbags EVER. I have had one for over a year, and it still looks brand-new. Just purchased one for my boyfriend, and he really likes it, too. These bags are so sturdy, wash up beautifully, stretch around large containers, (sometimes I have to pack two meals, and these bags have enough room!), and have a little cushion just in case the bag is dropped, too. This may be the last lunchbag I ever own! It was hard to tell on the website what color the lining was for the black bag -- it is a nice, neutral khaki. Perfect for guys!

I bought this lunch tote as a Christmas gift for my husband. We have been packing our lunches for work for years and I use a cloth lunch tote. My husband is not the type of guy to carry a "cute" lunchbox. He was using plastic shopping bags and then throwing them away when he was done eating. I decided it was time to invite him over the plastic-free side of lunch. We were both impressed with how much stuff can be packed into the Built tote; I was able to fit a salad plate inside so he could heat up his lunch. It rolls up easily to slip into our cabinets at the end of the day. My husband says he loves his new gear and I love the fact there are less plastic bags in the landfill.
